A couple of years ago I brought home a big trunk of a mango tree that my aunt used to have in her garden, at first the use I would give to that big trunk was to make a base for a lamp, with one thing and another that was left for later and all that time has passed, it was left at the entrance of the parking lot next to other plants and since then it has been a great fungus factory and home for a good amount of mealy bugs and centipedes, certainly in some occasions I have thought about removing it from there and just throw it away, but when I think about how beautiful those fungi are I end up leaving it there, or just move it a little bit.

Yesterday was an excessively hot day, a thermal sensation of about 34 °C too much for my taste, almost at the end of the afternoon it fell a quite considerable and fast rain that cooled almost immediately the atmosphere in my town, we arrived home at about 7:00 pm and since then I dedicated myself to prepare dinner, at about 10:00 pm I went out to the garage to meditate a little and when I turned to look there was this great community of Shaggy Manes, let's be honest, I wish to see other species of mushrooms in my garden, but I did not see this great community of Shaggy Manes: 00 pm I went out to the garage to meditate a little and when I turned to look there was this great community of Shaggy Manes, let's be honest, I wish I could see other species of fungi in my garden, but let's not ask for pears to the elm, is what my garden produces, but I can not help but get excited to see this great community, the largest I've seen to tell the truth.

The beauty of being able to see them just emerging, because as far as I could tell they had just a couple of hours, emerging, in fact, some were still to emerge and you can see in the images the incipient shoots of what today morning would be a lot of umbrellas as if it were a beach shore, it is something simply magical to observe them in both ways, and more when it is not a single mushroom but an entire community. This morning I slept in so I went out to the garage after 8:00 am, the weather was still cool and they had just a couple of hours of life left to these beauties, even less, because here when you say heat and sun, few things can stop it, and because of its location would not take long to dehydrate by the sun.

When I returned home around noon the Shaggy Manes were already history, history that was recorded in my photographs, certainly I could have looked for my camera and take some better shots, but here between us, I had no battery hahaha, those of us who are lovers of these beauties are so happy when we see a little one of these, now imagine how I felt when I found all these.

Images owned by me, taken with the camera of my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S Edited with Snapseed </ a> and PicsArt.
