Finally, new shoots of Zamioculca [EN]//[ES]
Hello dear succulent lovers, Happy love and friendship day! Long time without walking here, the truth is that, I have my plants a little abandoned, because for the work, I do not have the same availability of time that before, however, eventually I give one or another round to them, to see that everything is going well, that is one of the great advantages of the succulents, and that is why I love them, those who follow me for a while, know that one of my favorite plants, not to say, that is the most spoiled, is my Zamioculca, many know it as the plant of fortune, not to say that it is the most spoiled, is my Zamioculca, many know it as the plant of fortune, this came into my life about 4 years ago, just a twig that my aunt gave me in a butter container, over time I was changing the pot, until its current giant pot, and that most likely I must change soon, I just need to find an even bigger pot, if that is possible.
For a long time I wanted to reproduce this plant to have in this way, more of these around the house, but I was a little afraid to cut its branches, it was not until about a year ago that I decided to cut a few, because the pot where it is, no longer holds more, and it can happen, what happened with the previous one, which burst and the subway rhizomes of the plant were left without any substrate, literally, It was an accumulation of roots and bulbs, to avoid that, I have been cutting eventually the branches that tend to be drying, the first ones that I cut, as I mentioned, a little more than a year ago, I put them in a container with water, and there they were a couple of months, until they began to leave roots, some of these rotted, and only 2 of them remained that were the ones that I transplanted to some containers with a suitable substrate for them.
Long before cutting the first dry branches that I planted later, I believe that a couple of months before, I left, by an oversight, a leaf of the plant, which I took and buried in a pot of other succulents, without any hope that this one prospered, in fact, a few months ago, I gave it for lost, because the leaf after so many months, rotted, my surprise this afternoon, was to find that this leaf, has already become a small plant, On the other hand, I went to check the plants that months ago I placed in pots, and that I did not see any progress, one of them, the one that had no leaves, and just had a completely dry branch, has a plant about 15 centimeters high, and the other, the branch that looked more lush, is just beginning to show a couple of rhizomes, I must say, that I feel like when my son played his first tune on the flute hahaha, what happiness.
In no internet site I have found information about the time it takes to emerge a bud of this plant, what I will say from my own experience, is that they have taken just under a year in this process, which makes me want to take even more care of my seedlings, their care, although they are minimal, It is important to follow them to the letter so as not to damage this plant, they will take about two more years, approximately, to give flowers that although it is true, they are not the most beautiful, I love them, and that shows that it is a healthy plant, because I have seen many, with more years than mine, and they have never flowered, so I treasure them very much. I already look like the old lady of the plants, but that only means that I am just maturing hahahaha.
This little beauty is not Zamioculca, but I love how it is growing.

¡Hola queridos amantes de las suculentas, Feliz día del amor y la amistad! Largo rato sin pasearme por aquí, la verdad es que, tengo mis plantas un poco abandonadas, pues por el trabajo, no tengo la misma disponibilidad de tiempo que antes, sin embargo, eventualmente le doy una que otra ronda a las mismas, para ver que todo esté marchando bien, esa es una de las grandes ventajas de las suculentas, y por eso es que me encantan, los que me siguen desde hace rato, saben que una de mis plantas favoritas, por no decir, que es la más consentida, es mi Zamioculca, muchos la conocen como la planta de la fortuna, esta llego a mi vida hace unos 4 años ya, apenas una ramita que mi tía me regalo en un envase de mantequilla, con el tiempo la fui cambiando de maceta, hasta su maceta gigante actual, y que muy probablemente debo cambiar dentro de poco, solo me falta encontrar una maceta aún más grande, si eso es posible.
Desde hace tiempo quería reproducir esta planta para tener de esta manera, más de estas por toda la casa, pero me daba un poco de temor cortarle sus ramas, no fue hasta hace un año aproximadamente que decidí cortarle unas cuantas, debido a que ya la maceta en donde está, no aguanta más, y puede suceder, lo que paso con la anterior, que se reventó y los rizomas subterráneos de la planta se quedaron sin nada de sustrato, literal, era un cúmulo de raíces y bulbos, para evitar eso, he estado cortando eventualmente las ramas que tienden a ir secándose, las primeras que corte, como lo mencione, hace poco más de un año, las coloque en un envase con agua, y allí estuvieron un par de meses, hasta que comenzaron a salir raíces, algunas de estas se pudrieron, y solo quedaron 2 de ellas que fueron las que trasplanté a algunos recipientes con un sustrato adecuado para ellas.
Mucho antes de cortar las primeras ramas secas que plante luego, creo que un par de meses antes, partí, por un descuido, una hoja de la planta, la cual tome y enterré en una maceta de otras suculentas, sin esperanza alguna de que esta prosperara, de hecho, hace unos meses, la daba por perdida, pues la hojita después de tantos meses, se pudrió, mi sorpresa esta tarde, fue encontrarme con que esa hojita, ya se ha convertido en una pequeña planta, que apenas está comenzando a mostrar hojitas, por otro lado, me fui a revisar las plantas que hace meses coloque en macetas, y que no le veía avance alguno, una de ellas, la que no tenía hojas, y que apenas tenía una rama totalmente seca, tiene una planta de unos 15 centímetros de alto, y la otra, la rama que se veía más frondosa, apenas está comenzando a asomar un par de rizomas, debo decir, que me siento como cuando mi hijo toco su primera tonada en flauta jajaja, qué felicidad.
En ningún sitio de internet he encontrado información sobre el tiempo que tarde en emerger un brote de esta planta, lo que sí diré por propia experiencia, es que han tardado poco menos de un año, en este proceso, lo que hace que quiera cuidar aún más mis plantitas, sus cuidados, si bien son mínimos, es importante seguirlos al pie de la letra para no dañar esta planta, tardarán unos dos años más, aproximadamente, para dar flores que si bien es cierto, no son las más hermosas, me encantan, y eso deja ver que es una planta saludable, pues he visto muchas, con más años que la mía, y nunca han florecido, por lo que las atesoro mucho. Ya me veo como la viejita de las plantas, pero eso solo quiere decir, que estoy apenas madurando jajajaja.
Esta pequeña hermosa, no es Zamioculca, pero me encanta como va creciendo
