Mindfull Monday: Let's never stop being grateful for one more day of life!

Today, after 30 days confined to my house, I went back out on the streets, of course, with all the proper precautions, and walking at a lame pace so as not to get too agitated, the truth is that I never thought that seeing the streets of my town would make me feel so good again hahaha Going shopping and seeing that the people who constantly saw me were concerned about me and were looking after my recovery, is really something rewarding, and makes me think that I must be doing something right.

Before leaving I picked a few lemons from the tree and I realized when I squeezed them a little, that I could feel their smell, the truth is that I was happy as if it was something extremely big and important that had happened, and it is that after a month without smelling absolutely nothing, to be able to feel a smell is really rewarding. Just being able to yawn in peace is something I love and now with much more reason, because when you have had a strong respiratory deficiency, the truth is that we learn to value much more the simple fact of breathing in peace.

While I was in my most difficult days this past month, my father was very emphatic about the fact that we must be thankful every day for the things we have, because many times there are a huge number of people who have not even been able to survive that day. In fact, today I also learned that a neighbor of many years and who worked as a nurse in the clinic of my neighborhood, has died for Covid-19, it is really unfortunate because it was an excellent person and very good at what he did, but on the other hand, has shown me that what my father stressed so much in those days is so true.

Simple things, like breathing, smelling, and tasting, are part of the things that a patient with Covid-19 cannot do, and it will usually take months after the virus is acquired for it to do so normally, to say the least, To be able to perceive smells and tastes are two of the things that I most wish would come back to my life, however, I do not stop thanking life and God for the opportunity to continue sharing with my son, my family, with all of you and even with the lord of the vegetables or the lord of the deli. Well, thanks to God I can once again share with everyone.

While it is true that not everyone in the world practices the same religion, it is also true that we believe in one or even more Gods, so it is important to always keep in mind that whatever divine energy we call God, we must be infinitely grateful to him for the grace of being alive and hopeful of getting out of whatever situation we are in. Many do not have faith in this divine energy that we call God, and they put it out of their lives, without taking into account that this energy can help us in the most difficult moments. blessed week for all!

Saying your gratitude is definitely important.

And ironically if we didn't have food all of the times that we had food would have become a great blessing.

It is only when things are not in your life that you realize how important they were

That's right, we usually don't value things until there comes a time when we don't have it, and that's one of the big mistakes we make, we should always be grateful!

Curated for #naturalmedicine by @drrune.

I love that you focus so much in those small, seemingly insignificant everyday details like having a sense of smell or leaving the house once more. I have been taking long walks through Caracas, resuming contact with friends, and it's amazing just how much more appreciation I can feel for those things now!

It is unfortunate that we have to deprive ourselves of simple things in order to give them the value they really have, at this very moment I miss the hugs from my aunt, who lives a couple of houses away but whom I have been unable to see for months thanks to this virus, and I only ask God to be able to do those little things again
