Photographic practices with these Brazilian Trunk flowers [EN] // Practicas Fotográficas con estas flores de Tronco de Brasil [ES]
A couple of weeks ago the Brazilian Trunk in my garden started to bloom, in fact, I shared some pictures of its buds that you can see in this post, in it I showed you the captures made with the help of my cell phone, yesterday evening already we noticed that the flowers did not stay in a bud but bloom in the nights, and they give off a really delicious scent very similar to orange blossom flowers.
I took the opportunity to take some pictures with my new camera, and the truth is that the difference in the quality of them is abysmal, even though it is a camera of just 10.2 Megapixels. When I was talking to the person who sold me this camera, he told me that knowing how to take pictures we can achieve much better quality shots than those captured with any cell phone, and certainly the camera of my cell phone has a main sensor of supposedly 48 megapixels, and I have not achieved such good pictures, although of course, I still have a lot to learn.
Let's just say that, these photographs still continue to be practice, as I have been still learning to manipulate the camera and its different parameters, the focal length is one of the things that has cost me the most, as well as the manipulation of the different focus points, for photographs of this type that as you can see has a lot of detail.
It is difficult for me to achieve the perfect focus in shots like the following two that I show you, in which I try to focus on a complete bouquet of flowers, the first photo was the most difficult for me, but I think I achieved the effect I was looking for, which was to focus on the bouquet that is above and behind the branch. The second photo was taken with the focal point in the middle of the lens, and to tell the truth, I feel it had a little more amplitude in the focus of the flowers.
In distance photography, the medium focal point seemed to me to be the right one for these flowers, because I really wanted them to be focused in the center of it, and so in this way, you could observe the bouquet of these flowers in its entirety, thus showing you several points of view of it. Although as I already mentioned I am just learning the basics with this new camera, I must say that the result of these photographs satisfies me a lot and I hope to continue improving.

Hace un par de semanas comenzó a florecer el Tronco de Brasil que está en mi jardín, de hecho le compartí algunas fotografías de sus brotes que puedes ver en este post, en él les mostré las capturas hechas con ayuda de mi teléfono celular, ayer ya anocheciendo nos percatamos de que las flores no se quedaban en un capullo sino que florecen en las noches, y despiden un aroma realmente delicioso muy similar al de las flores de azahar.
Aproveche de tomarle algunas fotografías con mi nueva cámara, y la verdad es que la diferencia en cuanto a la calidad de las mismas es abismal, aun cuando es una cámara de apenas 10,2 Megapíxeles. Cuando conversaba con la persona que me vendió esta cámara me comentaba que sabiendo tomar las fotografías podemos lograr tomas de mucha mejor calidad que las capturadas con cualquier teléfono móvil, y ciertamente la cámara de mi teléfono móvil tiene un sensor principal de supuestamente 48 megapíxeles, y no he logrado fotografías tan buenas, aunque claro está, me falta aún mucho por aprender.
Digamos que, estas fotografías aun continúan siendo de práctica, pues he estado aprendiendo aun a manipular la cámara y sus diferentes parámetros, la distancia focal es una de las cosas que más me ha costado, al igual que la manipulación de los diferentes puntos de enfoque, para fotografías de este tipo que como pueden ver tienen mucho detalle.
Se me hace difícil lograr el enfoque perfecto en tomas como las dos siguientes que les muestro, en las que trato de enfocar un ramillete completo de flores, la primera foto fue la que más difícil se me hizo, pero creo que logre el efecto que buscaba, que era enfocar el ramillete que está por encima y detrás de la rama. La segunda fotografía la tome con el punto focal en el medio del lente, y a decir verdad siento que tuvo un poco más de amplitud en el enfoque de las florecillas.
En fotografías a distancia, el punto focal medio me pareció que era el indicado para estas flores, pues buscaba realmente que quedaran enfocadas en el centro de la misma, y que así de esta manera pudieran observar el ramo de estas flores en su totalidad, mostrándole así varios puntos de vista del mismo. Aunque como ya les mencione estoy apenas aprendiendo cosas básicas con esta nueva cámara, debo decir que el resultado de estas fotografías me satisfacen mucho y espero poder continuar mejorando.
