652 HBD spent - a strong first week of June at Happy Customer Supermarket

We go again in June 2025 trying to onboard newbies and have everyone spend HBD. Happy Customer Supermarket is more than just a groceries shop. It's a web3 networking facility. We have goals for June 2025 and that includes making our visitors spend more HBD. If you look at the chat below for this first 7 days of June, a total of 652 HBD has been spent in our supermarket within the period.

Other interesting stats

With more HBD spent in our shop comes many other interesting stats. Of course, each business tries to watch it's competitors. When I look at other listed businesses accepting HBD, I feel great for what Happy Customer Supermarket is doing. For example, I took a screenshot of the number of transactions we performed so far in June and it's super impressive. Take a look

As you can see, 88 transactions has been performed in June. That's really a high figure and it makes sense to understand that it's this number of transactions that accumulated the sales volume of 652 HBD. I think we created a weekly sales record again as we have never reached that number before. But there is more. Check the second chat below.

This chat is showing how many HBD has been claimed in the first week of June. We have a record 144 HBD. That is really cool to see. The total HBD claimed across all businesses accepting HBD in this first week of June is 268 HBD. Putting our performance in perspective, it simply means that more than 50% of those transactions was done in Happy customer Supermarket.

We are still working hard to onboard more new users. This first week, we already have 4 new users that joined us. They are @starlightt, @mayorvince, @stellaokoro and @sparkling02. These ones all made their first purchases and are happy to explore the Hive Blockchain as well. Some of them are already preparing their introduction post too. Together with the older customers, we have been able to achieve a big transaction volume in the first week of June.

During our always busy daily activities at the supermarket, I took out small time to snap with a few of the customers. The enormous economic impact of SpendHBD is so huge customers always smile when they come shopping. They actually make money anytime they spend. See the pictures above.

Other runs for the supermarket

Running a physical business like this is never easy. A lot has to be done to make things go smoothly. I really appreciate the 1500 HBD provided by distriator.loan. That funding has helped increase the size of our business. This week, we spent the last part of the money to get a deep freezer for the supermarket. At the top is a picture of me at the dealer shop and below is a receipt for the purchase.

I also stock a lot of goods from suppliers for the supermarket. The goal is to make sure customer have what they need anytime they come shopping.

Hosting our June Meetup

I am really eager to see more Hive user friends both old and new. Our meetups afford us the opportunity to do that. So I organized and hosted our meet up which was held yesterday 7/6/2025. The main aim of this meetup was to develop more builders on Hive. You can see the theme of the meetup in the banner below.

The meetup was designed to help more Hive friends see the need to setup businesses that accept HBD. In this way they are able to expand the HBD economy and enlarge the ecosystem. Presentations by me and @beauty197 fired up all in attendance to think of ways set up new businesses that accept HBD or implement the HBD payment in their existing business. More details about this meetup and pictures too would be provided in a later post.

Looking ahead to a fresh week

The second week of June would be even more busier. I have organized a workshop that will see a significant number of new users in attendance. That meetup will come up before the next weekend. It would be a time to get more talented new friends onboarded and show them the entire Hive ecosystem starting from spendHBD.
