Halfway through June 2025: 1342 HBD spent!

The second week of June has come to an end and it's time to look at our ever-impressive numbers. The most important figure here is the number of HBD customers have spent shopping in Happy Customer Supermarket - a total of 1342 HBD. That's a huge huge sales turnover halfway through the month. It's shows we are capable of hitting even higher figures than what we did in May 2025. Impossible is nothing.

Just Going higher - the numbers

So if you look at the above chat from distriator, you could confirm the HBD transactions to be 1342. If we take this as a target number or out average for June, then we could record in excess of 2500 HBD at the end of this month. Well that's just a speculation which we would like to check again at the end of the month. But then, it's obvious to see that more users are adopting HBD payments and more transactions are recorded. We still have other important stats to check.

The above stat counts how many transactions that was performed at Happy Customer Supermarket. You could see that a total number of 84 transactions was performed. This is an encouraging number. It shows that more users are paying with HBD and that contributes to the popularity and growth of HBD transactions.

In the first week of June, we had a slightly higher number of 88 transactions. That was 4 higher than this figure for second week. But then, those are really good numbers considering that Happy Customer Supermarket is just into its 4th full month of operation. We would really do better if we keep up the efforts and remain consistent for many months or even years to come. Considering that there was a total of 215 transactions, the 84 recorded by Happy Customer Supermarket this week represents 39% of the total transactions this week. Isn't that impressive?

Another important stat to check is shown in the chart above - 143 is the number of HBD claimed at Happy Customer Supermarket. That's cool again. That number comes from the total transactions mentioned above. For this second week, the entire businesses on distriator claimed 306 HBD. Putting in 143 of that number, Happy Customer Supermarket accounted for 46% if the HBD claimed. That's quite close to half of all HBD claimed this first week. Another impressive shift.

Newbies and more inventory

This week we had a lot of disruptions in our plans to host workshop. But we still welcomed 2 newbies in @favouright, @queenjoe,. These friends have done their first HBD shopping and loved the experience. They are definitely going to continue exploring Hive as a platform and possible publish their introduction posts soonest. We will be keeping an eye on them.

Our customers are happy to find more inventory in our supermarket and we are diversifying into other food stocks. For example, we have added palm oil to our inventory for the very first time. Palm oil is almost a steady recipe in all local dishes. Many customers have asked for it and finally we had a dealer to supply that. You can see it below.

Garri (processed cassava flour) is another hot in-demand food item. Garri Ngwa is the highest quality of this food item sought by customers. You could see we got another 50 KG supply of garri Ngwa as you can see below. That's a hot seller for our customers and they are happy to have it.

Instant noodles is the next hot seller we make sure we always have in stock. Super Pack Indomie is the fastest seller. We always make sure there is a handy supply of this item, otherwise many customers would be on our neck.

There are a number of new arrivals that we brought just to make sure that everyone that steps into our supermarket finds something to buy in order to spend HBD.

Second half of June would be busy

Starting right away from Monday, we will host our first SpemdHBD workshop in June and another one before the end of the week. We are going to increase the number of newbies that we onboard and try to teach out to former newbies to retain them

I want to appreciate our regular customers that buy from us. They come every now and then and are responsible for our high sales figure.
