Traveling with a Skateboard • [ Town to Town ]

How incredible the good energies can be when you go out for a weekend in search of a little excitement and end up with a great adventure.


Just like that was my weekend, this past Saturday I had the mission to review monuments that are housed in the municipality Ezequiel Zamora with the intention of repairing them, repainting their structures and doing maintenance itself.

So we could not waste this job opportunity since I am a painter and work anything I am offered to do, I saw that here was a great opportunity to get some money.

I knew that this job would be big and that it would not be done in a single weekend, so I called my friend Daniel to accompany me on this adventure to write down the colors and make a basic budget of how much material we would need.


Well, without money for the tickets we decided to go on skates and skateboards, from my house to a few meters down is a smooth road that allows skateboarding.

After a few meters we managed to get a ride from a van that was approaching us, it seemed strange to us because with the levels of insecurity that are seen here we really saw unlikely the possibility of a ride.

The owner of the vehicle was going right to the place where we had to go, to the Monument of the Virgin of the Valley.

Here we wrote down the colors of the work and made an approximate calculation of the materials to paint it but obviously we took the time to take some skating shots and a couple of photos.


As we could not waste much time and had to get back before nightfall we decided to continue on our way to Tejero.

In the middle of Punta de Mata and Tejero is this monument to the Virgen del Valle and after that is the AMANA river where we made a little stop and tried to get another ride but no luck this time.


So we continued our way to the town of Tejero to the monument called Divino Corazon de Jesus, this weekend was full of long walks and a lot of heat because from there after making the notes we met an old friend resident of the town Tejero who took us by motorcycle to his job which is a security guard in a public school where he allowed us to enter and make some shots skating.

Our initial mission was just to take down the materials needed for the restoration of the monuments so we had to race against time to get back home before dark.


But our friend gave us a great ride from Tejero to the monument of the Virgen del Valle where we caught another ride back to town.

And so was my weekend last Saturday.
