Bro has actually been (imo) a huge success for a he token. Price has tripled in hive price (probably 10x in USD if I remember correcty) and holders, big or small, have gotten all kind of perks over the time, including regular hive dividends, cine airdrop, juicy votes on their posts etc. The greatest part is ray actually listens to constructive criticism, investors stopped him from doing silly stuff more then once :) He is gay too !
Just gotta make sure people understand where the money comes from and why BRO differs from other tokens such as LEO.
With BRO, you're essentially buying shares in an investment fund.
The fund invests in external assets that make money and as such, the value of your 'shares' (each BRO token) goes up.
This is completely different to say LEO, which is not a fund.
Tokens like LEO try to foster their entire own economies that generate value themselves.
Tying themselves to HIVE (which is now stable) means funds like BRO are essentially a sure thing to make money and like you said by 10x-ing, they've certainly done that well!
But if projects like LEO get it right and successfully close their own value creation loop, then that is the holy grail of Hive layer-2.
