This Is My Entry For Hive Business Card Design Contest
Hello Guys, this post is my entry to the contest for Business Card for Hive by @acidyo. Through this post I will be sharing the business card I prepared as well as the steps involved in making it.
The rules were pretty simple for the contest and I've followed each given rules which basically were -
- Business card must have 2 sides
- Room for QR codes to be placed on either sides
- Front side must be universal
- Rear side can be community dependent
- Front side must have the onboarding link attached to the QR code
- Rear side must have the @hiveph Discord link attached to the QR code
- Design must be sleek and mass producible
Front Side of the card
This is the front facing side of the card where I've kept the logo of HIVE as the main focus of the page on the left with the HIVE slogan on the Top Right Corner and beneath that the QR code with the link to Hive Onboarding is placed with a little call to action type of text "Web3 awaits you"
I have used https://www.canva.com/ for making the business card you see above, I downloaded the HIVE logo and imported in Canva for using it. The texts you see were available on Canva itself, I just edited them with the TEXT I wanted to display. The QR code is made using an online QR code maker using the link that you want to attach to the QR code. So that is basically how I made it.
Rear Side of the card
This is how the rear side of the business card looks like, over here it solely focusses on the @hiveph community and can be edited as per the community change that needs to be done. I used a circular pattern with black lines just over the white canvas and on top of that the main contents have been placed. You can see the name of the Community in bold as well as the logo of the @hiveph community and just on the right side you will find the QR code to join the Discord Server of the community.

For the unique touch with the community in mind I added the flag of the country along with the HIVE along in the center of the total structure which gives it a bit more significance as a community based in a specific country.
This was the card I have made for my participation in the contest, I would like to admit I am not a professional designer by any stretch but tried making this one like you just read how. I hope you liked it.
