Mass Indoctrination session Day 1. 10/01/2022.

May the peace of God be with you all.
As we begin the mass indoctrination, I want to share with you what I learnt from the word of God.

Important points;

In the church,Baptism is the first doctrine.

According to Acts 22:16 Apostle Paul was was a member of the Jewish church so he persecuted the church of but Jesus called him into the church of God. And he was told to be baptized and after baptism he joined the church.
This is the proof that baptism is the first doctrine in the church.
According to the gospel, the first doctrine is baptism after you receive the gospel.

In our time you will have to examine the word of God and see whether it's the truth. Because there are alot of false teachings. so what you will do first is to receive the doctrine and believe before you will be baptized.
Then after baptism what you do is to be part of the church.

Joining the church is necessary for us after baptism.

Apostle Paul after baptism, he joined the church and became a member in the church of God.
joining the church is very necessary because Christ is the head of the church. The church was established by God through Christ for eternal purpose.
When you receive Christ but do not join the church, it means that you don't obey his words. The primary commandment of God for us is to join the church of God. The church is an institution that will teach the wisdom of God to the members.
Acts 2:41, those who received the word were baptised and were added to the church of God so you see that it's very necessary to be a member of the church because it's a doctrine of God to do so.
Christ is the head of the body which is the church. The body is made up of the members and this members are both the Gentiles and non gentiles.
According to the Bible, the gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
so we are the gentiles for that matter we have to join the church as the Bible has said. We are partakers of the Divine promise. It's God's commandment for us to be part of the church.
Because of the love that Christ has for us, he bought the church with his blood so that through the church many can be saved.
The church is the place where you will learn the doctrines of God when you receive baptism.

The church is established by God through Jesus Christ according to the Bible. So the church belongs to God and must be named after him.
You will realize that anything the belongs to someone is named after that person. likewise the church belongs to God so it must be named after God and not Christ. Christ is only the head of the church that belongs to God so he shouldn't be named after the church as some people say, the church of Christ. Church of Christ is not the right name but the right name is the Church of God.

churches like The Lutheran Church, the wesleyern church, the Pentecostal church etc. are examples of name of names that are not right.
The official name for the church is the church of God.
some religions say there are no more churches and that the church is not relevant in our time. You just have to believe in God and that is enough. They say we now have fellowship, ministry Assembly etc. what they are saying is not true, according to the Bible, God established a church and not what they are saying.

My Old believes;

I believed that accepting Christ is enough to be saved but after the teachings I have learnt that after accepting Christ it's not enough I have to join the church.

How the study affect my life;

I have to join the true church.
