Cuando me quiero olvidar de todos, recuerdo que soy mía y me pierdo en mis fotografías.

When I want to forget everyone, I remember that I am mine and I lose myself in my photographs.

La fotografía revela mi verdadera identidad, es como si sacara lo mejor y lo peor de mi, es como si mostrara a mi propio reflejo amarrado dentro del espejo, y aunque pida a gritos que o saquen sigue ahí, dándome una dosis más alta de dolor.

The photograph reveals my true identity, it is as if it brings out the best and the worst in me, it is as if it shows my own reflection tied inside the mirror, and although it cries out to be taken out, it is still there, giving me a higher dose of pain.

Por medio de mis fotografías es que puedo notar o creativa que me pone sentirme sola, lo ínfima que me siente en este mundo, y lo importante que soy para mí.

Through my photographs is that I can notice how creative it makes me feel alone, how insignificant I feel in this world, and how important I am to me.

Cada vez que experimento me gusta más lo que veo y dejo que salga poco a poco, a través de esta maravillosa alianza que hice con la cámara y la oscuridad al graduarme de periodista, alianza que no ha terminado de salir del closet porque sigue ahí, temerosa de enseñar todo lo que sabe y sacudir al pequeño mundo que lo rodea, pero soy yo, en todo su esplendor y con todos sus demonios.
