Resulta que como estamos en el boom de la era del funko casi todos son regalos de funko pop, figuras, llaveros, cadenas y estamos en ese auge de la cultura popular transformada a un juguete, que no es tan juguete. Hace un par de meses vi una figura en funko pop de El zorro, y nada más y nada menos que el zorro de Diego de la Vega de la serie de 1957, donde aparece el sargento García y les cuento que yo decidí regalarle esa figura a mi papá por lo siguiente; esa serie en particular yo la recuerdo de niña, la pasaban en un canal nacional llamado Venevisión a las 6 de la tarde y mi papá siempre terminaba de trabajar se bañaba y se alistaba para ver la serie, a las 5:55 ese hombre estaba sentado en la cama poniendo al Canal con la serie a todo volumen ,porque esa serie la vio el de niño y entonces yo la veía con él y él me contaba todas las historias de los personajes, cómo se desarrollaba la historia, en donde se desarrollaba la historia, en qué año, a qué edad él la vio por primera vez, porque la vio en blanco y negro, en qué televisor, y bueno así. Yo sé que a ese hombre se le iluminaban los ojos cuando el intro de la canción comenzaba;

Resulta que hace 3 años yo me mudé de casa de mis papás porque me casé, comencé mi vida, ya soy una mujer de 26 años y bueno obviamente extraño muchísimo mi papá y siempre lo tengo presente siempre estoy hablando de él y de todo lo que él me enseñó, jajaja ya aquí tengo los ojos aguados quiero llorar, pero sigamos me encanta hacerlo sentir especial y yo sé que un funko pop es una figura con la que él no va a jugar, pero yo sé que la va a tocar mucho y la va a tener siempre encima, yo quiero que la tenga en su carro para que la pueda ver a diario.

Mi papá es mi mayor figura, mi papá es lo más grande que tengo en la vida y no puedo esperar por ver sus ojos cuando reciba el funko pop, como les digo yo tengo muchísimos recuerdos de mi papá viendo la serie conmigo, nos reíamos muchísimo y decíamos que él se parecía al sargento García porque mi papá es gordo, entonces me siento muy feliz y ahorita con los nervios de punta esperando que él llegue y yo salir corriendo y abrazarlo con el funko en la mano.
