Hoy estuve limpiando el patio de mi casa y me dió por pasarle un trapito a todo, incluyendo la lavadora y me percaté que (como es casi nueva) tenía partes del plástico aún, recordé que mi papá cada vez que viene me dice quítale el plástico que después se pone duro y va a ser muy difícil quitárselo... Pues, cuando no le hacemos caso entonces pasan cosas, mi respuesta era papi ahorita, en otro momento papi, más tarde lo hago pues hoy fue el día y las palabras de mi papá me retumbaron ya qué, ni echándole agua pude quitarle los pedazos que con el sol se han endurecido tanto, entonces... While we are small (8-13) we believe that daddy and mommy are annoying, that they scold us for everything, that they keep repeating the same thing, when we are teenagers (13-18) then mommy and daddy are getting old and they don't let us do anything and they come with their own things, when we enter adulthood at 18 we want to leave home because we are fed up with their advice and phrases, but that's how it is, we never pay attention to them BUT those words remain in our minds, there comes a time when we leave home and we miss our parents and as things happen in our lives we remember their words.

Mientras somos pequeños (8-13) creemos que papi y mami son fastidiosos, que regañan por todo, que se la pasan repitiendo lo mismo, de adolescentes (13-18) entonces mamá y papá se están poniendo viejos no nos dejan hacer nada y ya vienen ellos con sus cosas, cuando entramos en la adultez a partir de los 18 entonces ya queremos irnos de la casa porque ya nos tienen hartos de consejitos y frases, pero es así, nunca les hacemos caso PERO esas palabras quedan en la mente, llega un momento donde ya nos vamos de casa y nos hacen falta nuestros viejos y a medida que pasan cosas en nuestra vida nos vamos acordando de sus palabras.

A veces cocino y se me queman las cosas y mi mamá está en mi mente corrigiendo mi error, a veces hago algo y pienso ya veo porque mi mamá se cansaba, o ya sé porque mi mamá se molestaba, en otras ocasiones intento arreglar algo y pienso en como lo hacía papá, y se los agradezco en el alma porque yo fui muy grosera con ellos y creí me las sabía todas y ahora los necesito mucho, ojo, mis papás están vivos, yo me mudé a mi hogar hace un año y pico, pero estoy trabajando en mi orgullo para ceder y poder pedirles sus grandes consejos ya que ahora soy una mujer con un hogar.
