22 minutes, 22 shots

Today it was a rainy day. Nothing much. Just occasional drizzling and light rain, while we even had some hours of sun. For most of the European countries this would have been a great day but in Greece we call it shitty weather :)

Nevertheless when I finished the things I had to do for the day, I went for a short walk. I had some time before it gets dark and the rain had stopped. I like taking pictures after the rain, everything looks clean and the air is much more clear than usual.

It turned out that I had just 22 minutes before it starts raining again. Enough time for a short stroll and 22 shots for my blog :)

The location is the old centre of Nafplio and if you missed my two previous posts, let me tell you that no, I am not on vacations again, this is my new home. I just moved here and although it is a place that I know very well, walking around as a resident is very different than been a visitor.

The tourist season hasn't started yet and the weather wasn't good either, so the people on the streets were very rare. Sometimes I had to wait for a person to pass by, in order to include a human figure in my picture and some others no-one ever came! But with or without people Nafplio is always an easy place to take beautiful pictures!

As the night was approaching, the magic of dusk started to cover the town, adding a touch of mystery on the narrow, dark streets. And as the first drops of the rain started to fall, I took the last shot. The majestic medieval castle overlooking the small town!

I also feel after rain is a great time for a photo walk, in nature as it seems to bring out the colors, but also as you show us here it makes the air cleaner damp roads can have a shine to them

Fabulous photos I would love walking those streets

Rain is forgiven when we are talking photography. Flowers without droplets sing a different song. 🎵

The air is cleaner, and if we caught walking in it, well wet feet is a given. Such a beautiful town you have placed your welcome mat out for! Love the castle and the feel of the town. Which major town is it near?

Flowers without droplets sing a different song

You always have something poetic to say :)

It is a lovely little town indeed! There isn't any major towns in the area, but it is less than 2 hours away from Athens, so everything we might need is pretty close now!

Oh I'd like to have one of those rooms with the little balconies that I could step out on at dusk and breathe in the night air. A very picturesque place. I too live in a tourist town, and when the tourists aren't there it is more magical than if tourists never were.

You got the feeling of the place just right!

Yes, tourists can alter everything but they are the price to pay for living in a beautiful area :)

Wow, this place reminds me a lot of a dream that I made long time ago.

My only question is, how do you score some weed in Napfolio...Where is the spot?

Otherwise, count me in! dýo souvlákia parakaló efcharistó!

Ah you guys are very smart to put your intro post in your outro! GOod idea!

The souvlakia part is easy. In the matter of your question though, I am afraid that I don't have the answer :)

The idea of the intro at the end of every post come to me because I like to know a few things about the people I follow and some times I spent a lot of time to scroll down one's blog trying to figure out what it's all about. The intro is a much quicker way :)
Some others have their intro pinned on the top of their blog but that is only visible on peakd!
