Dispelled doubts
I had a good eight hours sleep tonight, way more than my usual six. It happens once in a while and I always take it as an unexpected gift :)
If you don't have any trouble in sleeping as much as you need to get rested, then you probably can't resonate with what I am saying but if you are from the ones that the stars have to align in order to get a full night's sleep, then you probably understand me.
Anyway I just wanted to say that it was a good morning and as I felt full of energy, I decided to accompany @traisto during her morning dog walk.
In the two pictures above there is a bench and a seascape. The bench has seen better days but this is rather insignificant when you have the view that you can see on the right. And that's exactly the view that I could see this morning. So peaceful, so reassuring...
We are walking in one of my favorite routes in the town of Nafplio, known among the locals as the round of Arvanitia. I have told you about it quite a few times by now and I will probably tell you again in the future :)
In one of my previous posts about it, I have told you that this route is officially closed due to the danger of falling rocks. A banning that nobody respects, tourist or local. Nevertheless it is wise to avoid walking there during and after a big rainfall, as well as during strong winds. And the last couple of weeks we did had some rain and some very strong wind from the south so I haven't been there for a while.
But today was a brilliant day and walking by the sea was a bliss!
We should never forget though, that the rightful owners of this place are its cats and that we can only enjoy our walks there, because they allow it!
And of course we do offer them some goods in return, as all the ancient people did for their gods :)
And if I had any doubts that spring is coming and that the tourist season is about to start, the cruise ship and the endless come and go of its tenders, transferring people ashore, dispelled them for good!
The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 850D with an EF-S 18-135mm lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic

Ohh yes I can relate to what you are saying about sleeping the odd time I get 8 hours sleep is rare, normally around 6 and for me its bene that way for over 40 or more years

The path next to the rock wall looks a bit dangerous, I don't think I would ever go there. The cats are a beauty. And the landscape, no words...
It looks more dangerous that it actually is, although there is a small risk. Most people seem to ignore it though, including myself :)

Spring is in the air!
I am SO envious of the sea time right now.
Haha we walked yesterday in a woods where there was a lot of ash tree die back and big signs saying not to enter. 🤣
I am also jealous of that sleep .. how fabulous!
The truth is that we have a marvellous weather, I am afraid I can't hide it :)
And the sleep yes, it gets more and more scarce. Maybe a sign that we are getting older? 😳
Oh it really is! Perhaps we should just sleep when we're dead haha.
Pouring with rain here - haha. We still have been for a walk though. I"m two weeks ahead with post scheduling which shows how busy we've been doing fun things.
I found magnesium helps, and we found these amazing ashwagandwa and lavender oil tablets that work a treat. Sadly it's never guaranteed, so a good nights sleep is a cause to celebrate indeed!
The price of hive, going steadily up, helps me too :)
