Holy garden
Yesterday I was looking for a location to do a portrait shooting for a friend and ended up to the garden of a small, very old church. It is a beautiful, peaceful place, with a lot of flowers and trees. Ideal for portraits and not only!
As we were wandering around to find the perfect spots for the portraits, I didn't miss the opportunity to capture some of the flowers' beauty! The garden is very well attended and mostly enjoyable for all the senses!
I was using my intimidating 80-200mm f/2.8L (my friend did scared a bit when she saw it) which I consider great for portraits but for close-ups too. It is not a proper macro lens but I like the result!
During the whole time we repeatedly annoyed this lovely peacock who was leaving every time we were close, only to move to the next spot we were about to go in a few minutes :)
And of course a shot of the church that so generously provided the scenery we needed!

Nice shots. Looks like a really cool place.
It looks like a lovely location! 🙂
I like using my 55-200mm for portraits -- mostly because I'm still very new to photography and I find it easier to get a nice bokeh with the zoom. 😅
Plant and flower photos can be boring and bland but these definitely ain’t! Lovely composition and color palettes.
Your photographs are really beautiful, the quality of your camera is excellent I really liked the first photograph that yellow color is very beautiful.
Wow I can sense the calming vibe there.
