Literally everything

IMG_5172.jpg

During the last nine months that @traisto and myself have moved to Nafplio, I have shown to you, in many posts, our new town. The castle overlooking the town, the beach that we swim, the picturesque neighbourhoods of the old town, the port and so much more.

But I have shown you nothing of what is going on indoors. And if the move itself was a big step, what's happening behind our closed door, is even bigger!

Marcos, our canine friend knows all about our project but he is not going to tell you :)

Neither am I, for the time being, but I felt the need to make a small teaser until I am ready for the detailed posts that are going to follow.

You have obviously understand by now, that I am not going to show you much, rather an abstract essence, a vague illustration that gives you hints but not real information! Anyway this post started from an urge to take a few pictures around our space with no other purpose than my desire to do so.

And in order to make it even more vague, I edited the pictures in b&w. Not out of ill will, I just haven't done any monochromes for a long time and it felt so fit to those pictures and the way I took them. It reminded me a bit my first years in the school of photography that I was wandering around the house taking pictures of, literally, everything :)

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 6D mark II with an EF 100mm macro lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic .

All the pictures and the words are mine.

Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.

Commenting, upvoting and rebloging are highly appreciated!

When are you coming back to Crete?

Thank you Katerina!
Maybe at the spring, I am not sure. Most of the time we'll be at Nafplio and we'll be coming to Crete mostly when there is some work to do at the olive grove.

@fotostef I felt identified when you said that when you started photography school you took photos of everything.
I think more than one here will feel the same.

You are very talented, good job. My best wishes for you.

Thank you very much, I am glad you like them!

The editing programs are giving us nowadays so many options that some times it gets overwhelming to pick the one that really suits you!
