Neither did I
Happy new month to all the hive ecosystem!
Either you are on the north hemisphere and are anticipating spring, or on the south and you are brushing your winter cloths up, I hope you'll have an amazing and unforgettable April :)
The last days have been very warm and summerish and I was planning to go to the beach today and take a few shots for my #happynewmonth post (and maybe get my south hemisphere friends a bit jealous :)) but it turned out to be very windy so I had to slightly change my plans. I went towards the beach but I diverted to a seaside path focusing on the nature around me!
Most of the flora alongside the path were pine trees which are ok but I was after for some signs of spring and pine trees aren't really the most characteristic trees to illustrate spring :)
I had almost given up when I spotted the first colourful bloom on a practically bare tree. Judging from its seeds, it should belong to the genus of acacias but I can't be sure. Nevertheless I was thrilled with those tiny splashes of colour and I started shooting!
As they say, every beginning is difficult but then it gets easier. Indeed after the first pics of the blooming tree, more and more colourful spots started to pop up from the ground! Mostly weeds but when it comes to photography I love weeds. They are beautiful, they are resilient and most important, they are always there :)
At the last pictures it's getting obvious why I didn't focus on the sea which is pretty wild but the prickly pears don't seem to care!
And to tell you the truth neither did I :)
I had a great time as it is and there will be plenty of time to enjoy the sea during the next months!

Pretty shots! Also that looks a bit dangerous
Thanks a lot :)
The pathway is pretty safe but you have to stay away from the edges. The slope to the sea is very steep!
I would walk here daily 😍 Even probably just sit down near the edge and watch the sea. Such a stunning view with lots of nice colorful flora
Great shots.
It's really windy here as well.
Happy April 1st xxxx
Thank you very much!
We can't escape the wind :)

I kind of skipped winter this year. I kept moving around the last months and somehow I was always at the place with the least cold weather in Greece :)
