Not just yet

I felt the need of some sea breeze today, so I headed towards the port. The white clouds were just enough to make the scenery more interesting (photographically speaking) without stopping the warm sun from reaching to the ground. The last day of what we call Christmas celebrations, which include Christmas (obviously), New Year's Eve and the Epiphany on January 6th, is on Saturday. After that, the decorations will go back in the storage room and will have to wait till December to be used again!

But not just yet :)

The town still has a lot of visitors and there are expected a lot more for the weekend. So I can't say that I was enjoying the seaside walk by myself but on the other hand it wasn't crowded at all. On the contrary. I would say that it was a rather calm day.

Except from the wind that was a bit more than what I would like :)

When I felt that I had enough sea breeze and maybe more than enough wind blowing over my head, I entered the old city walls. I took a last look of the sea, from a higher level this time and I took the familiar, narrow streets of the town.

I continued my walk looking up, to the blue sky that filled the gaps between the buildings. And although this not a very wise tactic (walk looking at the sky instead of the road), it turned out to be a pretty interesting camera angle :)

It is a bit tricky to keep taking new pictures when you move on the same place day after day! But Nafplio is giving so many shooting opportunities that I think I am far away from the day that I'll say:

That's it, I have photograph everything there is to be photographed!

I think I am going to introduce a new tag in hive, something like #alwaysacat getting inspiration from the #alwaysaflower tag by @dswigle.

Because around here, there is always a cat :)
