Rainy walk

At last some rain!

I know that most of you on the rest of the northern hemisphere, are already sick and tired of moody rainy weather or even extreme cold and snow but in the part of Greece that I am right now, we are experiencing a very mild and very arid winter. Which might be nice for walks and sightseeing but the nature around us in suffering and when nature is unwell, people will suffer the consequences shortly after!

So I am happy for the rain, even though the stray cats do look a bit annoyed :)

The route that I chose is one of my usual ones. Straight into the old town, among the beautiful old mansions of Nafplio and in an everlasting pursuit of new images. The wet surfaces and the overcast sky gave me at last, a few new elements to work with. I was starting to worry that I'll never see this town without a bright sun above it!

This cat is annoyed too but not because of the rain. There are four other cats that you can't see in the picture, in front of the fence and judging from the aggressive meows, things are not going well!

Or maybe I misunderstood and they were mating meows which again is enough reason for concern :)

If the above six pictures confused you, let me tell you that no I am not in a garden neither a farm and this is definitely not a #hivegarden post. I am just on a pedestrian street that someone had the notion to plant among other plants, vegetables and a small olive tree in big pots!

It isn't the most usual thing to walk around a touristic town and find a broccoli or a cauliflower in front of you but it was a pleasant surprise. I like to see people doing stuff not because they have to but simply because they feel like doing them!

This is my contribution to the #wednesdaywalk challenge, hosted by @tattoodjay!

The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 850D with an EF-S 18-135mm lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic

All the pictures and the words are mine.

When I thought that the vegetables and fruits were winning in this post over the cats, I saw that it was not the case...

There are four other cats that you can't see in the picture

So, two visible + four invisible cats (6) vs broccoli, cauliflower, tangerines, aloe vera and an olive tree (5)

😂

If it is true, in this area of the world Corrientes-Argentina it has been raining for three days in a row
It's good that the rain finally arrived there, the plants will be very grateful, yes, it is true that the cats will not be very happy with the situation, but they are very intelligent and surely they already have a place to face the rain
What a beautiful city, I love its streets and period buildings, and it's good that people plant their own vegetables in the middle of the street.
Beautiful Wednesday walk dear friend @fotostef I appreciate you sharing these beautiful shots

Even in the rain, Greece looks warm and beautiful.

Pure beauty. 📸

But I tell you something that caused me a lot of laughter today in X and it is not without truth. Before the next rain BTC will have a new ATH. 🤣
