Without any certainty, I would surely look for ways to ensure my own survival and turn my place of residence into a fortress. Nor would I abandon my home, in the hope that someone I know might come to where I live, which I would surely do as well, I would go to each of the homes of my relatives, friends and acquaintances to check what has happened to them.
