Once upon a time in a mountain far away from civilization, there was a kingdom in which its inhabitants lived in perfect order with nature and the animals lived in harmony among humans.

King Cetace I did not like that order very much, so he did not like the fact that he had to marry a member of Mother Nature in order to maintain the order so far established. That is how he did his best to stay away from such imposition.

Time passed and the social pressure demanded that a prompt decision be made, which is why one fine day King Cetace I went out early in the morning to the countryside to clear his mind of such a situation. In those days the fairies of the forest still took care of the rich springs and the mangrove goddesses did the same with the vegetation so being in the forest did not represent any danger.

Había una vez en un monte muy alejado de la civilización, un reino en el cual sus habitantes vivían en perfecto orden con la naturaleza y los animales vivían en armonía entre los humanos.

Rey Cetace I no gustaba mucho de ese orden por lo que no le gustaba el hecho de tener que casarse con un integrante de la madre naturaleza para mantener el orden hasta ahora establecido. Es así como hizo lo que pudo para mantenerse alejado de dicha imposición.

El tiempo pasó y la presión social exigía que se tomara una pronta decisión, razón por la cual un buen día Rey Cetace I salió muy temprano al campo para despejar su mente de semejante situación. En aquellos días las hadas del bosque aún cuidaban los ricos manantiales y las diosas manglares hacían lo mismo con la vegetación por lo que estar en el bosque no representaba ningún peligro.

They were the deities of nature beings without defined gender with the capacity to love any man, which had established a natural order in which they had to marry humans to maintain the balance of nature and thus prevent the self-destructive capacity of living beings to make a dent in what God had created.

As King walked he felt the presence of a deity, it was a shadow fairy who walked to the rhythm of the morning breeze. She had long hair and a passionate gaze that instantly made him long to know who she was however, his heart was saddened when he learned that the shadow fairy already had a human soul mate in a man who lived in the vicinity of Dead Lake.

Then a bitter sorrow covered his majesty's heart, the only being that truly interested him was no longer available to him, then the most cunning animal on the face of the earth called the Serpent whose wickedness had harmed men since the beginning of time took advantage of the affliction that gripped King Cetace I and accosted him.

Eran las deidades de la naturaleza seres sin género definido con capacidad de amar a cualquier hombre, las cuales habían establecido un orden natural en el cual debían casarse con humanos para mantener el equilibrio de la naturaleza y así evitar que la capacidad autodestructiva de los seres vivos hiciera mella en lo que Dios había creado.

Mientras Rey caminaba sintió la presencia de una deidad, era un hada de las sombras que se paseaba al ritmo de la brisa matutina. Tenía un cabello largo y una mirada apasionante que al instante hizo que anhelara saber quién era sin embargo, su corazón se entristeció cuando supo que el hada de las sombras ya tenía un alma gemela humana en un hombre que vivía en las inmediaciones del Lago Dead.

Entonces una amarga pena cubrió el corazón de su majestad, el único ser que en verdad le interesaba ya no estaba disponible para él, entonces el animal más astuto sobre la faz de la tierra llamado Serpiente cuya maldad había hecho daño a los hombres desde el principio de los tiempos aprovechó la aflicción que embargaba a Rey Cetace I y lo abordó.

— There may be a way for you, your Majesty, to stay forever with your loved one —The serpent paused and continued with a solemn tone —a terrible plague affects the beings of the west, I have heard that Galen who owns the heart of Fairy of the Shadows is good at curing the ailments of living beings.

— Su Majestad no debería usted estar triste ¿que no es este su reino?

— ¿Qué puedo hacer? Hada de las Sombras ya tiene dueño en su corazón y yo he venido a hacer un desdichado más en la tierra.

— Puede que haya un modo de que usted su Majestad, se quede para siempre con su ser amado — La serpiente hizo una pausa y continuo con tono solemne —una terrible peste afecta a los seres del oeste, he escuchado que Galeno quien es dueño del corazón de Hada de las Sombras es bueno curando los padecimientos de los seres vivos.

— But how would that help me? —asked King Cetace I intrigued.

— Well, there is a very big possibility that if Galen goes to the West to cure the living beings I will fall ill and die....

That was how the heart of King Cetace I was filled with evil and because of that evil being that with his cunning managed to involve his majesty, unleashing a spiral of events that would unleash terrible consequences.

— Pues, existe una posibilidad muy grande que si Galeno va al Oeste a curar a los seres vivos enferme y muera…

Fue así como el corazón de Rey Cetace se llenó de maldad y por culpa de aquel malvado ser que con su astucia logró envolver a su majestad, desatando este hecho una espiral de hechos que desencadenarían terribles consecuencias.

Si bien inconclusa, ya la historia se nos muestra interesante. Muy atractivo el uso del recurso fantástico, al modo de los cuentos de hadas (o "cuento marvilloso"). Saludos, @franchalad.
PD: Se te olvidó colocar la fuente de la imagen visual. Si es un post bilingúe, te sugiero que en el título también coloques la expresión en español.

Muy interesante cuento, de lectura fluida y cautivador. Veo que utilizas recursos religiosos como el pecado del Rey David mezclado con la religión primigenia. Excelente elección. Saludos
