Fresh waters, at last.

Using the pullcaster, I pried open the dam structure to expose a hidden explosive sac while Atekka detonated it with a ballista shot. After freeing the valley from poisoned waters, I flew and glided back to Thornmarsh, checked on young Zella and received a Tenakth reaver as a reward.

Aloy mentioned she might be able to pull part of the dam open to expose the sack. So I went to the dam area to check out first, scaling the slippery logs along the edge to find a secure anchor point.

Then I tried to shoot the dam with a Reaver's cannon, but it didn't do anything, as the heavy plasma rounds exploded harmlessly against the thick, reinforced shield.

And then I noticed Aloy kept talking about pulling part of the dam open. So I decided to use my pullcaster and pull it down while Atekka was just there doing nothing.

I could actually pull part of the dam open and expose the sack using the pullcaster. But it's gonna take a powerful shot to blow it up, which Aloy can't do at once. So she asked Atekka to fire a bolt from the ballista while she holds this thing open.

And when Atekka was ready with the ballista, I pulled the part once more, and then Atekka shot it with a bolt, which blew the dam up.

And Aloy also got some damage, but she survived, though the massive shockwave threw her backward and a torrent of fresh water burst through the canyon.

Atekka was really happy as they are going to finally free of the poisoned waters after all this time. And she asked Aloy to meet her at Thornmarsh when she can, as she deserves a proper reward.

After Atekka returned to Thornmarsh, leaving Aloy behind, she just stopped there to check on Thornmarsh, mentioning the Rebels must have been spying on them from here, and that it might be a nice glide down.

But I knew it was a long distance for a glider, so I called my mount and then I flew there, and at last I used the glider to get down, deploying the holographic energy wings to descend softly into the village center.

As I went to speak to Atekka, after having a conversation with her, Aloy talked to that little girl, Zella, who said she was ready to hunt.

Then Atekka mentioned she promised Aloy a reward equal to her deeds. And she couldn't think of anything more fitting than a Tenakth reaver. And then the side quest was completed.
