El piloto del equipo JR MortorSport, Noah Gragson de la maquina #9, fue el ganador de la carrera disputada el día de ayer a las 3:30 ET en la pista de Darlington Raceway. Esta fue una carrera bastante disputada donde los tres primeros lugares terminaron a menos de 1 segundo del primero al tercero, con un gran pilotaje del auto #9 quien a pesar de no ser el que más lideró vueltas, pero si el segundo en esta estadística algo que me parece bastante notable y más cuando tomamos en cuenta la participación de DENNY HAMLIN, abordo del auto toyota #54 quien fue el que más vueltas estuvo en el primer lugar durante los tres segmentos que se disputaron la carrera, con un total de 43, tres vueltas más que Gragson. Esta es la primera victoria de Noah Gragson en la temporada regular, algo que resulta ser muy bueno ya que así llega con mejores opciones a disputar el campeonato de piloto de esta temporada 2021. La carrera se fue a tiempo extra, donde Noah tomo la primera posición en la vuelta 143 y de allí no la volvió a soltar más hasta la bandera a cuadro. El piloto favorito para llevarse la victoria HAMLIN tuvo un percance en los pits la cual lo obligó a penalizar y quedar último en la vuelta del líder y se le hizo imposible remontar las posiciones que había perdido previamente.

El primer segmento de la carrera fue ganado por DANIEL HEMRIC #18 , mientras que en el segundo lugar quedó Noah Gragson #9, en el tercer lugar AJ ALLMENDINGER #16, además de que JUSTIN HALEY #11 y DENNY HAMLIN #54 cerraron el top5 respectivamente de las posiciones 4 y 5 de dicho segmento inicial. Este primer segmento fue bastante disputo, la verdad que me pareció que la carrera fue bastante entretenida, como suele ser cada una de ellas que se dan en esta pista. El primer segmento sirve para llevarse puntos de bonificación tanto para la tabla de posiciones de la temporada regular como para los play-off, la cual le otorga punta extra al ganador, además de una puntuación de 10 puntos en el campeonato regular. Los puntos los obtienen los 10 primeros, algo que le da un plus extra para que los corredores se cuiden menos y salgan a buscar las victorias en cada uno de los segmentos, algo que mejora la experiencia tanto de los aficionados que visitan la pista, como los que ven las carreras por TV.

El segundo segmento y el final fue tan interesante como el primero. Lo más interesante fue que al principio pensé que HAMLIN se llevaría la victoria, se vio bastante dominante pero por un error en la última parada en pits le perjudico bastante ya que se vio obligado a dejar pasar a los contrincantes hasta llegar a estar último en la vuelta del líder. La estrategias en pits siempre juega un papel importante en las carreras y esta no fue la excepción, que si bien no fue determinante pero por algunos errores salieron favorecidos otros pilotos quienes tuvieron la oportunidad de luchar por la victoria al finalizar la última parada y bandera de precaución. En total fueron 8 banderas amarillas, lo que para representación que fueron muchas pero para lo difícil de la pista y lo novatos de algunos pilotos de la segunda división de NASCAR, me pareció que fue moderado. Una carrera bastante bueno, donde tal vez no ganó el mejor auto, pero si un piloto muy talentoso que merecía alzarse con esta victoria y como les mencioné a principio, es la primera de la temporada.

The pit strategies always play an important role in the races and this was no exception, although it was not decisive but some mistakes favored other drivers who had the opportunity to fight for the victory at the end of the last pit stop and caution flag. In total there were 8 yellow flags, which for representation was a lot, but for the difficulty of the track and the rookies of some drivers of the second division of NASCAR, it seemed to me that it was moderate. A pretty good race, where maybe the best car did not win, but a very talented driver deserved this victory and as I mentioned at the beginning, it is the first of the season.

Esta victoria es un alivio para el piloto del auto 9 y así puede afrontar las últimas dos carreras restante de la temporada regular de una manera más calmada y así concentrarse en hacer el mejor trabajo posible en cada una de las rondas de los play-off para así poder pelear el titulo tanto de piloto como de propietarios.
