LORE

The Chaos Realm had been preying many worlds by invading the lands and taking from its people. This was done by opening rifts in time and space. When this Realm attacked Praetoria and Splinterlands, those being attacked thought that the minions were compelled through the portal for their fear of the dark shade that lurked beyond the gate. They thought the shadow was that Uul. To their surprise, when the last of the army stepped through, there came such a prodigious monster that none could believe was real. It was a sight of nightmare dragged forth into reality…the sight of the CHAOS DRAGON

STATS

IMG_20221120_070833.jpg

This monster is truly a beast. One look upon its stats will want to make any player wish they had atleast one copy in their collection. It’s got 10HP and an added 4units of armor to start off. Its 3units magic attack will surely cause some major damage to enemy’s HP. Its magic will gain +1unit when it reaches its max at Level 4 for a total of 4units magic. Any monster it hits will surely be devastated in one way or another. It’s got 3units speed making most enemy’s attacks miss in addition to its flying ability which is very suitable for earthquake ruleset provided there is enough mana to be spent. This monster has the Scattershot ability at the base level, an additional Blast ability in Level 2 which will cause damage to any adjacent monster it is attacking. All those devastating abilities will be supplemented with a Blind ability at Level 3 which will increase the chance of enemy’s melee and ranged monster’s attacks miss their targets. Truly one of the best and most terrifying stats there is.

RULESET

TARGET PRACTICE: All Ranged and Magic attack monsters have the Snipe Ability

The battle I'm going to show you guys this time is from the scholarship account I'm handling. I've just started playing this account a few days ago.

LINE-UP

SUMMONER: QUIX THE DEVIOUS

I chose this summoner to have a speed advantage. This will give speed debuff to enemy’s line up causing my friendly monsters’ speed be even more highlighted. It will also deduct 1unit of Ranged Attack monster attacking power making their attacks harmless to my line-ups.

LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR

I chose this monster and placed it in 1st position because of its ability which is very suitable in such position. It has VOID ability which make magic attacks hit its armor first. It has noticeably high armor which will make up for its medium amount of HP which is 6units. It cost 9mana but since I’ve got 99mana I can spend, using high mana cost monsters is not a problem at all. It has decent speed and melee attack which is more than enough to battle any enemy fair and square. Also, when the ruleset is taken in consideration, my 1st position will only 1 or 2 monster attacking it since all magic and range attack monster from enemy line-up will be having a SNIPE ability which will target my line up starting from 2nd position down to the 6th.

CARNAGE TITAN

I specifically chose and placed this monster in the 2nd position because of its ability. I have other monsters in my disposal that has REACH ability but his 2nd ability really takes the cake. Aside from REACH which enables it to attack from 2nd position despite being a melee attacker, it also has the DOUBLE STRIKE which enables it to attack twice everytime it gets its turn. Quite an attacker, I would say. It also got decent speed and attack power plus a high amount of armor which will shield it from melee and range attackers. It has high HP too which can sustain it for a few rounds even if it is attacked by magic attach monsters.

CHAOS DRAGON

I picked it from my deck of monsters and placed it in 3rd position since of all of the monsters at my disposal, it has the best and most useful attacking power. This monster being in that position will surely be guarded from the backline attackers trying to sneak their way through my line-up. It also got decent speed and can also fly which will give most enemy hard time targeting. It also got powerful magic attacks dealing 3units of magical attacks to any enemy it had its eye on. Its SCATTERSHOT ability disregards the TAUNT ability of any enemy since it hits its target at random and very seldom attacking the same monster twice in a row when there were too many a target.

SILENT SHA-VI

I chose this monster and placed it in 4th position because I wanted to put SNEAK attacker in my line-up. Having sneak attacker will enable my team to attack the enemy in all fronts, the frontline and the backline and the sniping ability of my magic and range monster granted by the ruleset in effect. It’s got higher speed than my previously placed monsters upfront. It’s melee attacking power is also even greater than the two melee monsters I put earlier, though the 2nd position monster attacks twice causing twice the damage.

RUNIC SKYCLAW

I placed this monster in the 5th position since I also wanted this monster to be well guarded from the backline attackers of the enemy. I wanted it to stay longer because I intended to use its strong range attack power. Its 3units range attack is a strong addition to the arsenals of my line up. Its high speed, in addition to its high range attack power, is its most notable stat at base level. Any attacks directed at it with lower speed will almost surely miss its mark, well aside from the attacks of magic monsters.

VOID DRAGON

Finally, the 6th and last position will be used by this monster. I placed it there because I intend to primarily use it as a meat shield for my stronger monsters upfront since a powerful SNEAK monster can easily sneak their way through my backline if I placed a monster with too low HP. Its HP is high enough to make it last for a few rounds. It also is the 2nd fastest monster in my line-up so I thought that it should be good enough to be placed in such position since it can make the enemy missed the attacks directed against it should they have sneak attacker.

THE BATTLE

Since I have the speed advantage in this battle, the 1st Round began with an attack from my monster RUNIC SKYCLAW dealing great damage to the enemy’s monster with TAUNT ability. Both mine and the enemy’s exchanged attacks starting from the monster with the highest speed. The enemy’s hope of winning was immediately removed when CHAOS DRAGON immediately attacked their healer effectively killing it in one blow. It didn’t attack the enemy with the TAUNT ability since its target was random thanks to its SCATTERSHOT ability. I’d say its fortunate that the enemy’s healer was removed early from the game. All the enemy monster’s attack, except the 1st position monster, were directed at CHAOS DRAGON. It suffered a great deal of injury but thanks to its high health and armor, *** it is able to weather and withstand the assault. Some of the attacks also missed since the enemy monster speed was debuffed by my summoner. The range attack power was diminished too. This gives CHAOS DRAGON more room to breathe since the damage it received was minimal. The 1st Round ended with the enemy down only 5monsters left while I still have the complete line-up

The 2nd Round began with another attack from my RUNIC SKYCLAW effectively killing MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN since it had already received enormous damage from powerful attacks of my line-up during the previous round. Another monster was removed from the game when CHAOS DRAGON’s turn came, effectively killing GOBLIN TOWER. Before the round ended, CARNAGE TITAN, with its powerful ability DOUBLE STRIKE, also removed UNICORN MUSTANG from the game. The round ended leaving the enemy with 2monsters to carry on to the next round.

The 3rd Round began with a full assault of my line-up to the devastated enemy. In the middle of the round there is only one enemy monster left. A few more seconds the remaining enemy monster was killed giving me a completely seized victory.

POV

The battle lasted for only three rounds since I have completely overpowered the enemy’s line up.
Right from when the selected monsters shows up on the battlefield, I know I will have overwhelming victory since the monsters I picked were much better and much powerful.

I am satisfied with the outcome of battle since it ended in my victory. Given the same circumstances; ruleset, mana cap and splinter availability, I will use the same line up I did and will not replace any monster from one to another. They were the best monsters, considering availability from my collection at that time, to use for that specific battle.

CHAOS DRAGON is a powerful beast. No more words needed. One look at its stats and one will immediately think it is one of the most powerful beast there is.
