5 Minutes Freewrite: Long Braids
The salon was a really big one and had so many stylists working there, this was our first time visiting this salon and we had high expectations, the reason being that our neighbor had talked so much about the reputation of the salon for styling their customers hair to perfection.
On getting there, my friend and I both asked the receptionist for directions and we were each assigned to a stylist. We each described what we wanted and how we wanted it. I specifically told my stylist that I wanted long braids at least my butt length.
While she made it, I was on my phone, only for me to look up and find out she was making something shorter than the long braids I had asked for. I was really mad, luckily, she hadn’t done so much, so I had to ask her to stop and take out the ones she had done and do the braids the exact length I asked which should have been a lot longer than what she was making.
She set to work, and this time around I had to keep my phone away in order to pay attention to what she was doing. We had to spend a longer time than intended, because she had cut the hair extension shorter than required, and had to keep adding in order to get to the length I wanted. By the time she was done, I was so tired.

Yes, we need to, and they also need to speak up regarding what they can and can't do.
Oh you actually reminded me of a certain time that I had to make my hair in a salon I had high hopes for. After spending so much on getting my attachments and my hair permed, I was carefully examining the cuts and how she was about plaiting my hair.
After few long process in dividing a segment to make out with she did rubbish cause what I wanted was Alicia Keys hairstyle. I had to start giving her warnings upon warnings that if this hair isn't what I am expecting that I won't pay for the hair. This happened till the owner of the salon took over the hair and did it herself lol.

The thing is that they will never say they can't do it o, they will tell you they are experts, only to use your hair for experiment. Thank you for stopping by.
Good thing you were able to find out before it's too late. I sometimes wonder why it's so difficult for them to give exactly what the customer request for.
