LPUD: Increasing My Leo Power and the FreeCompliments Curation Account’s Leo Power! December ‘23 Edition

This is the Holiday version of LPUD! Let’s celebrate, but skip eating the yellow snow… and other colors as well.

My Own Leo Power Up

This month, with a relatively steady posting frequency and continuing my Leo Premium, I managed to collect 670 LEO (compared to 660 last month). Now, there’s one important thing to keep in mind this month: the price of $LEO went up in comparison to less month, hence delegations provided less liquis LEO – the remainder would have been earned through posts, comments, and curation. I did increase my curation multiplier for LEO, so I’m sure that helped to some degree. All things considered, my actual earnings increased!

This month, I’m splitting the majority for myself, and the remaining 150 LP will go towards fc-curation.

Powering Up the FreeCompliments Curation Account

I’m all about building up the FreeCompliments community (as if I haven’t made that blatantly obvious over the past several months). So let’s give it even more Leo Power!

The remaining 150 LP will go straight to the community account.

Oh, an additional 13.5 $LEO to power up! Let’s get it. Of note, last month there was 9 to power up, so this is a little bit of passive growth.

Slow, steady growth! Holding $LEO price constant, this is going to continue increasing month by month. If $LEO’s price increases, this may be lower – but it will be worth more!

For those who might not be aware, the @fc-curation account curates Threads that contain the #freecompliments tag, with a higher curation % for those who give genuine, well-written and unique compliments to others on Threads. I will admit that this past month I have primarily been using my own account to vote on Threads because my account has more LP.

A Bonus Little Power-Up from hive-140084 (the FreeCompliments Community Account)

This is definitely a substantial increase from last month, more than twice as much! The daily posts haven’t been receiving that many more votes than usual, but they must have come from someone. What can I say? The magic of stake-based curation!

Well, this account is forever going to be a part of the FreeCompliments curation trail, so we’ll keep it growing so that it can deliver some LEO when voting as well.

The Future

The Leo Power journey for the FreeCompliments community continues, but is still just at the very beginning. We’re going to continue growing our LP and distributing curation in ever-increasing amounts. We’ll also curate posts and comments directly in the community – same account will be used, so if you decide to go into the community, you’ll also be earning Leo Power!

This power up day has been successful! Next Leo Power Up Day, we’ll power up even more Leo so that we can support all of our growing Hive and Leo family. Let’s keep roaring, Lions.
