Should I have called this the Turkey edition of LPUD? I don’t think that lions eat turkeys, but I suppose we can make an exception for Thanksgiving. With this tradition, we’re certainly not giving much thanks to those poor, delicious turkeys…!

My Own Leo Power Up

This month, with slightly increased posting frequency and the new Leo Premium that I obtained, I managed to collect 660 LEO. This can be accounted for through several things: 1) earning more from delegations because LEO’s price dropped, 2) slightly more posts, 3) gradually increasing curation rewards, and 4) additional votes from LEO curators due to having Leo Premium. It’s a noticeable increase from last month’s 475 LEO.

This month, I decided to split the power up 50/50. Let’s power up ~330 LP for myself.

Powering Up the FreeCompliments Curation Account

I’m all about building up the FreeCompliments community (as if I haven’t made that blatantly obvious over the past several months). So let’s give it even more Leo Power!

The remaining ~330 LP will go straight to the community account.

Slow, steady growth! It appears powered up an additional ~9 LP over the course of the month, which came from post rewards and curation rewards. It’s not much, but this should continue increasing over time.

For those who might not be aware, the @fc-curation account curates Threads that contain the #freecompliments tag, with a higher curation % for those who give genuine, well-written and unique compliments to others on Threads. I will admit that this past month I have primarily been using my own account to vote on Threads because my account has more LP.

A Bonus Little Power-Up from hive-140084 (the FreeCompliments Community Account)

Last month, I was able to power up about 37 LP, and this month it’s roughly half as much. My suspicion is that this is due to less votes on the threads that I regularly post (they’re the same ones, and are generally targeted at new eyes, but I know that others see it and might not repeat their votes – understandable!).

At any rate, since it’s part of our FreeCompliments curation trail, we’ll keep it growing so that it can deliver some LEO when voting as well.

The Future

The Leo Power journey for the FreeCompliments community continues, but is still just at the very beginning. We’re going to continue growing our LP and distributing curation in ever-increasing amounts. We’ll also curate posts and comments directly in the community – same account will be used, so if you decide to go into the community, you’ll also be earning Leo Power!

Conclusion

This power up day has been successful! Next Leo Power Up Day, we’ll power up even more Leo so that we can support all of our growing Hive and Leo family. Let’s keep roaring, Lions.
