Welcome to my blog! The film that I will talk about this time is entitled Between Life and Death, it was published this year by Netflix. Now, I remember very well that day, I was looking on the platform for a movie that attracted me, after a long time digging, I visualize the cover of this plot, no doubt, it caught my attention, I really could not let it pass by, and more because they are my kind of story (I love to cry, something masochistic on my part) so, I took a seat and began to enjoy this story of youth drama that became a trend since its release. So without further ado, I'll tell you my experience without spoilers.

¡Bienvenidos a mi blog! La película que les hablaré en esta oportunidad tiene por título Entre la vida y la muerte, la misma fue publicada este mismo año por Netflix. Ahora bien, recuerdo muy bien aquel día, estaba buscando en la plataforma alguna película que me atrayera, después de un largo rato indagando, visualizo la portada de esta trama, sin duda, llamó mucho mi atención, realmente no podía dejar pasarlo por alto, y más porque son mi tipo de historia (me encanta llorar, algo masoquista de mi parte) así que, tomé asiento y empecé a disfrtutar de esta historia de drama juvenil que se volvió tendencia desde su lanzamiento. Así que sin más que decir, les cuento mi experiencia sin spoilers.

Between Life and Death is a mix between romance and paranormal, something that made me curious to know how both genres were developed in the film, although I've never been a fan of paranormal stories, however, it was worth getting up the courage to watch it. That said, the main protagonists of the story are Joey King, a girl who is characterized for being a good photographer. On the other hand, we find Kyle Allen, a rather handsome and very gentlemanly guy.

The plot begins with Joey taking some photographs on the sly to a rather handsome man, you can imagine who, yes, Kyle. He was always with his camera capturing good pictures of anything, no doubt it was his passion. After a while they both met, love at first sight, Kyle started to get interested in knowing more about what Joey was doing, spending a lot of their time together, going to restaurants, talking about their lives; they were in that stage of getting to know each other, plus they could not miss taking lots of pictures, everything was going great, they became sweethearts, honestly I was enjoying the story to the fullest, the characters had hooked me one hundred percent.

Entre la vida y la muerte viene siendo una mezcla entre el romance con lo paranormal, algo que me dio curiosidad de saber cómo se desenvolvía ambos géneros en la película, aunque nunca he sido muy fans de ver historias paranormales, sin embargo, no estaba de más armarme de valor y verla. Dicho esto, los protagonistas principales de la historia son Joey King, una chica que se caracteriza por ser una buena fotógrafa. Por otro lado, encontramos a Kyle Allen, un chico bastante apuesto y muy caballero.

La trama comienza con Joey tomando algunas fotografías a escondidas a un hombre bastante apuesto, ya podrán imaginar a quien, sí, a Kyle. Siempre estaba con su cámara capturando buenas fotos de cualquier cosa, sin duda era su pasión. Después de un tiempo ambos se conocen, un amor a primera vista, Kyle comenzó a interesarle con respecto a saber más sobre lo que hacia Joey, pasando gran parte de su tiempo juntos, iban a restaurantes, platicaban sobre sus vidas; estaban en esa etapa de conocerse, además de que no podía faltar el tomarse muchísimas fotos, todo iba de maravilla, se hacen novios, sinceramente estaba disfrutando al máximo la historia, los personajes me habían enganchado al cien porciento.

However, the story takes a completely unexpected turn, Kyle loses his life in an accident. When Joey finds out, she feels like her whole world went downhill, she gave up photography, she really did not find meaning in her life, until something begins to happen, some paranormal events begin to occur both at home and in her study space, she did not understand what was happening, until she realizes that it is her late boyfriend who wants to communicate with her, will Kyle manage to communicate with her, will Joey understand the message that Kyle wants her to understand, it is certainly a movie that at times made me desperate, but I felt it was worth watching it.

Sin embargo, la historia da un giro completamente inesperado, Kyle pierde su vida en un accidente. Joey al enterarse, siente como todo su mundo se fue en picada, renunció a la fotografía, realmente no le encontraba sentido su vida, hasta que algo comienza acontecer, empieza a ocurrir algunos sucesos paranormales tanto en su casa y su espacio de estudios, no entendía que pasaba, hasta que se da cuenta que es su difunto novio que quiere comunicarse con ella, ¿Logrará Kyle comunicarse con ella? ¿Comprenderá Joey el mensaje que quiere darle entender Kyle?, sin duda es una película que por momentos me desesperó muchísimo, pero sentí que valió la pena verla.

Between life and death is a touching film, which will leave a great reflection to your life, it will make you understand how fleeting love can be, but in turn how strong it can become, it really makes us understand that love never dies, although clearly in the story there were situations that we know that in real life does not happen, but that many of us wish it would happen. So, in short remember that "Love never dies" A plot that has won my heart so I give it 5/5 Thank you for coming here movie buff!

Entre la vida y la muerte es una conmovedora película, que dejará una gran reflexión a tu vida, te hará entender lo fugaz que puede llegar a ser el amor, pero a su vez cuan fuerte se puede llegar a convertirse, realmente nos hace comprender que el amor nunca muere, aunque claramente en la historia pasaban situaciones que sabemos que en vida real no sucede, pero que muchos desearíamos que aconteciera. Así que, en definitiva recuerda que “El amor nunca muere” Una trama que se ha ganado mi corazón por ello le doy 5/5 ¡Gracias por llegar hasta aquí aficionado del cine!

A mix of romance and paranormal. Sounds interesting. The main character is Joey King, fantastic actress, I remember her from the series The Act, where she plays a real character and her work is excellent.
