(Edited)

Here's another weekly post of the discussed topics on Leofinance visualized in a couple of wordclouds.
Thanks for the upvotes and the comments on last week's blog. Follow me to get these posts in your feed.

As I have done in the past few weeks I've collected the subjects of all blogs of the past week and created word clouds from them.
This is the overview of the first week of the year!

The number of posts of the last 7 days decreased a bit with -9,2%. But maybe we should call this a correction after the major increase in posts in the two weeks before. The 2701 posts is stil a lot more than we had the last few weeks of the year.

Week 2 : 2701 (- 9,2%)
Week 1 : 2961 (+ 17,6%)
Week 53: 2518 (+ 23%)
Week 52: 2047 (- 11,5%)
Week 51: 2313 (+ 7,3%)
Week 50: 2155 (- 5,8%)
Week 49: 2289

Global subjects

Every week I remove a couple of common words from this cloud as well as Hive since this is being used as the platform and the token. I do include it in the list below.

As expected the New Years greetings and predictions of last week are not in the top of the charts anymore.
Bitcoin still is the most mentioned word in the subjects, but the number of mentions decreased with 50.
The word "Leo" is also mentioned 87 times less than the week before. There are also less subjects, so this has something to do with it, but it could be the topics get more diverse.
I haven't really spotted any notable terms in the charts.

Do you want me to count a specific word or phrase in last weeks subjects, just ask me in the comments and I'll look it up for you.

Crypto coins

In the Crypto coin cloud we see Bitcoin 1st and Leo 2nd, but there are many other coins that were mentioned in the subjects.
After Ethereum with 111 mentions comes DEC, which has to do with the popularity of Splinterlands (which we will see in the game charts again.
Also Polkadot (because of the pump?), EOS (because the departure of Dan Larimer?) and Bitcoin Cash (Pump and popularity of noise.cash?) are mentioned quite a few times.
In total 153 different coins and abbreviations are mentioned in the subjects last 7 days which is quite diverse.

Hive games

The word cloud of blockchain games is a bit different from last week. @splinterlands is still the #1 game in the blogs on Leofinance (even 25% more than last week), but there are a couple of new games added to the cloud.
Some of them are new and others (like Alien Worlds) I've just detected and added to the list.

Rising Star (@risingstargame) had a remarkable drop from 41 to 27 mentions this week. This is why dCity was on the second place again with 39 mentions. But these two tend to change places every week :)
@cryptobrewmaster had quite a few posts this week because of the Hive prizes they are giving away this week.

I think it's way too late to start splinterlands for me, but so much hype I feel missing something great :)

It's never to late to learn something new 😉
I have played it for a while, but I thought the learning curve is quite high and playing it cost me quite some time, so I stopped.
