Chrysanthemum is the National flower of Japan. They are so beautiful. Though they bloom around autumn, I don’t often see them. I was happy to see and capture a few. Each flower was so big and had so many petals.

Hi fellow hivers and members of the WednesdayWalk community. I hope your weekend is going great.

It’s getting cold. Though I enjoy being wrapped up in my blanket and feeling all cuddly and warm, I do enjoy getting out, going for a stroll and admiring the flowers. Though autumn isn’t necessarily my favorite season, I love the colors of the seasons and the beautiful leaves and flowers we get to observe at this time of year. This week, I went for some strolls around my community. I was excited to see chrysanthemums. Each was bigger than the palms of my hand. The first white one (pictured above) in particular was bigger than all the others. I was awed by the beauty of them all.

Streets of Gold

There’s such beauty in seeing gold leaves fall and get scattered along walkways. For the past few days, I’ve been deliberate at choosing to stroll where I can see these bright-colored leaves. They add joy to my walk. Like a kid, I sometimes stoop, pick some leaves up, lift them high and then let them fall like yellow or gold rain. Recently too, huzzy and I walked the “yellow carpet” and could see others enjoying their autumn stroll. Nature is beautiful.
What flowers do you see in your area at this time year?
What autumnal changes do you experience in your area?

Thank you for reading my post. Have a great day. 😃

I didn't know they are the national flower of japan. Silly me, I thought it was Sakura haha

😂😂I thought it was sakura too.
Just after taking these photos and sharing them in a class I learned that chrysanthemum actual is. I was like, “Really?!” Many students had a similar reaction. We didn’t know. Lol!
Chrysanthemums must be a bit jealous of all the attention sakura gets.

😂 sounds like it! I swear, I think many people will think it's Sakura and never guessed it's Chrysanthemum. I always associate Chrysanthemum with the Chinese instead the Japanese.

😂In my head, it’s still sakura.
I hardly see chrysanthemums. It was a rare find. You’re right. I think the idea of it came from China. (Fair association)
Many of my students neither knew the name in English or Japanese. They didn't know the flower.
Really don't think we are the only sakura-thinking people. 😂😂This one really got me.

Greetings @fruityfruitz, this is a beautiful time where we can see part of the beauty of nature I loved to see these beautiful flowers that I think must smell very rich, in particular I love the smells of this time and in my city the tree that stands out is the Araguaney full of yellow flowers.
