Playing Fun Modes in Rocket League

Hello, gamers. Hope you are doing well.

I am playing rocket league again after a few days. I did not get much time to play for a few days. But today, I joined a club and played with two other members. That meant I couldn't play 2v2 and we decided to have fun and play the extra modes.

You see there are a few other modes in rocket league, not just the 2v2 ranked matches that I love to play. There are some interesting variations. There are some customized matches as well.

One of the most widely popular "Extra Modes" has to be Rumble. It is the extension of the standard game but with some extra abilities. The aim is to score more goals than your opponent while having some interesting, fun abilities like "grappling hooks", "tornado" and spikes. This makes the game much more unpredictable and chaotic. One could "freeze" a moving ball right outside the goalpost. LOL

The first game was "Rumble". It was a chaotic game but we managed to win it handsomely 4-1. I scored 2 goals in this game and got the MVP title as well. While my other teammates scored 1 goal each.

The next game was "Snowy". This is very similar to the standard game but the ball is replaced with a "hockey puck". Being a disk and not a ball it is so hard to hit any aerial shots and control becomes difficult. Passing play is so much important as beating the defender straight on is almost impossible unless so somehow manage to make it an aerial shot.

But we thrashed our opponents in this game, we won by a 4-0 scoreline. where I score 1 goal and 3 assists. Got the MVP again from the points I got.

We played another and this time it was a Rumble game again. One of our teammates got disconnected during the majority of this game but still, we managed to hold them for a long. It was 4-4 as we went into the last 30 seconds but they score two back-to-back goals leaving us with a hard-fought loss. Bear in mind that we were only 2 against 3 opponents in this game.

We decided to play another game and this was a Rumble match as well. It was the tightest of them all... it was 1-1 and then we both scored one each, but after getting to a 2-2 score, they score two goals in quick succession and now we have to come back. We even score one to make the score 3-4 but failed to score again and this was the final scoreline. We lost it by one goal but this was a fun game.

Well, this session was not a series but more for fun and playing with friends. We had a nice time on a discord call and this was a perfect break from more serious ranked matches in the game.

Pro Gamer Tips:

• Blame your teammate for your loss
• You didn't lose, it was laggy
• Only if I had a better monitor and graphics card.
• My little brother was playing the match.
• They were smurfing.
• I didn't sleep for two days.
• And the most important one: the Enemy team was hacking.
