Moving Forward

In the past, rickshaw would be the transportation for those who can afford it.

It may not be a highly esteemed job but it was honourable as one used his strength and continued to move forward regardless of how tire his hands and legs may feel.

It was not uncommon to face rude and unreasonable customers who treated them like lowly insects.

The rickshaw workers continued to move forward and earn to stay alive.

In our modern generation, some may look down on jobs like cleaners, rubbish collectors etc

When we compare many against their resilience, it will definitely shame many.

When Covid-19 hit, many may have become discouraged but the ability to move forward like the rickshaw regardless of hardship would move us forward as stepping stones for a better tomorrow.

My little Haiku below.

Keep moving forward
Future is ours to make
Make a difference now
