With 1,000 Ecency Points, I Will Put A Smile On Some Friend's Faces

Becoming a hive whale is one of every hiver's wishes and as you know it takes a lot of money or blogging to become one.

Having the ability to spread some significant amount of vote value to deserving posts comes with some cool feelings. Knowing that you have a significant say on how the reward pool is distributed and not just this.

Knowing that someone will smile and feel happy because of my voting value is one of my daily wishes and I'm glad ecency make this happens sometimes.

I still have a beautiful memory of the first two people to boosted my post. Some months back my posts rewards aren't as much as it is now. There were times I barely make 50 cents though sometimes I got as much as 5$ mostly they don't make much.

And one day @beeber boosted my post, it felt really special that she found my content worthy of it. It gives me a kind of keep it up. One day your posts will earn better.

Another friend was @princessbusayo, Princess I bet you might have even forgotten this but that day you did not only boost my post but you boosted my morale, to keep it up and keep going. Thank you.

Because of this, I share in ecency vision of helping friends by boosting their posts. It is a beautiful and well-thought-out idea.

Some weeks back, I had close to 2k ecency points, which I earned through posting, commenting, voting, reblogging, and sometimes earning through the daily lucky wheel spin.

I said to myself, girl it is time you become a whale even for a while. What I did was search for those great posts with little rewards and then boost them.

But because of the bear market, I learned that when the hive value is low, whales will not be able to vote for a lot of posts because as the hive value decreases, so will their voting values.

Sometimes they were able to vote for those posts I boosted and sometimes they could not.

I used to feel very happy when they did, as I know that I'm helping my friends to grow in the ecosystem by encouraging their work.

As I'm typing this post I have over 600 points and they will be going into boosting some of the quality posts I will find under reward. And anyone I found out that they are somehow struggling with real-life situations.

I think that simply answers the question of this contest by @ecency-star which is aimed to promote the ecency support community.

If I win the 1k ecency points, I will continue to find some quality under-rewarded posts to boost, so that I can put a smile on a friend's face. Most especially the newbies. And I will thank the ecency team for making me a whale even with my tiny hive power.😊 Do you know how much hive power it will take for my vote to be worth 1$? Hmm, a lot I guess. But with just 150 ecency points I can give a friend a vote worth 1$. If that isn't sweet then I wonder what will.

I will continue to be a reason one more hiver will stay active because they feel welcome and their work is appreciated.
