A bountiful meal at Diandin Leluk Thai Restaurant

I often find myself wondering what type of food will I eat for my lunch or dinner. This happens mostly during dinner time especially when I don't feel hungry enough to crave something to eat. A while ago, I was walking along the Beach Road area in search of something interesting to eat. It was past dinnertime so many of the restaurants and hawker places were closed. I was left with few options and many of them were the expensive ones.

Lucky me, a Thai Restaurant is still open for tonight; it's the Diandin Leluk Thai Restaurant.

I've passed by this place a couple of times already but it's my first time ordering a meal and dining.

The food that I ordered is Phad Thai and a mixture of Thai desserts, is yummy!

Phad Thai is one of my favorite noodle dishes!

This is also my first time ordering Thai desserts and I'm surprised that this plate full of goodies has only cost me S$3 and there's plenty for 1 person. This could be shared by 3 people also.

I've eaten in Thai restaurants on many occasions but this is my first time to try this place. I think they are quite well considering the good location they have.

There are plenty of items on their menu that look nice too but for tonight I prefer to have a plate of Phad Thai and a couple of authentic Thai sweet treats.

The sweet treats were served first because they were ready made. The colors define their flavors. That white one tastes milky, the pink one has a fragrance that is similar to a rose, and the yellow one is definitely the cassava.

I tried a bit of everything to check which one is going to be my favorite treat. It’s not easy to decide but the white one fits my preference. It’s a layer of coconut milk, jelly, and then filled with corn.

After a 15-minute wait, my food is here!

I would say that this is my kind of Phad Thai, subtle, sweet, sour, salty, and flavorsome!

I like the texture of the noodles. It’s springy and chewy.

There’s plenty of scrambled eggs too! A plate of Phad Thai always makes me happy and feeling satisfied after the meal.
