Being Digital nomad through Steem network?

Ever since I joined Steemit, I've been wondering whether I could live decently through my steem earnings and my short answer is a "vague" yes or no.

Obviously, it's the volatility of cryptocurrency that creates uncertainty into answering that basic question. And it also depends whether you have a huge following that are supporting your contents with decent upvotes.

What if you are a regular user in steem that doesn't have a backer with substantial SP/influence to the reward pool?

What could be the possible options for you?

Firstly, there are Dapps that incentivize users through their contributions to a certain request.

In Steemhunt, a user is rewarded with upvote by scouting new products and writing their review about it.

And there's also Tasteem that rewards users with a decent upvote for sharing their experiences and reviews of a restaurant and its food.

These are simple ways of earning steem that are focused in blogging.

Is there any other option?

Today, I learned about SteemLeo Shop! It's a website run by Steem Leo tribe where a steem user can simply offer any product or services in exchange for Steem token. The prices are shown in USD but the transaction is through the steem wallet fund transfer.

Currently, there are about 24 listings of product & services available. Some are even offering professional consultation services costing to about $100.

The way I see it, SteemLeo shop is a place where Steemians can offer services, buy & sell digital products that is quite similar to Fivver. The only difference is that it's decentralized and it's a real peer-to-peer transaction which is awesome!
