Big Appetite’s Mixed Veggie Rice 🍚
It’s always the long queues that one should check out whenever you’re not sure on what to eat. The crowd will never fail you when it comes to good food. It’s a good indication that the food is going to be worth it.
It’s my first time dining here in Suntec City’s Big Appetite Foodcourt.
With so many good options, I went for the one with longest queue, it’s the Mixed Veggie Rice stall.
This stall has a recognition from Food Masters Singapore which means that they are doing great with their food. A good reason why I like this kind of food stall ie because of the wide variety of selections that they serve.
It was a difficult choice but eventually I settled for the braised pork knuckle, stir fried water cress, and steamed egg.
To be able to choose the dishes that will go to my plate is an experience that I enjoy in this stall. I was able to mix a good amount of proteins, fibers, and carbohydrates too. I appreciate that they served me with the right amount of rice. It wasn’t too much so I won’t feel guilty if I finish all of it.
The obvious difference between this stall and the others that I tried in the past is that the food has minimal oil and minimal salt. It’s a healthier option!
I can taste the freshness of the ingredients and not the flavor of the oil or seasoning that was used. I think this stall goes straight to my top 10 good & affordable food in the city.
I’ll come back to try the other dishes soon!
Thats a long line, proof that their food is a good quality. Anyways that's my kind of heavy meal, perfect if you have a lot of things to do ಥ‿ಥ, it's like you'll be full of energy thanks to that.
True. I’ll survive until dinner time 😅
