Fun afternoon stroll with my new pet Macky 🦮
An afternoon stroll with my family and our new pet dog, Macky, in our tricycle was an unforgettable experience.
We decided to take a leisurely ride through the farm just near our house to soak in the fresh air and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This has been a tradition whenever we go home in our province, and it's always a cherished moment for us.
Macky's excitement was palpable as we set off on our motorcycle adventure. His tail wagged vigorously as he took in the sights and scents around him. He seemed to be enjoying every moment of the ride, his ears
flopping in the wind.
The farm was bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun, casting a golden hue over the fields. The corn crop season had just ended, leaving behind rows of stubble that rustled softly in the gentle breeze.
The landscape was serene, with only the occasional chirping of birds breaking the silence. I couldn't resist capturing the beauty of the scene with my phone camera. I snapped away, capturing the vibrant colors of the sunset and the picturesque countryside views. Each photo was a precious memento of our afternoon stroll, with Macky adding an extra layer of joy to the experience.
Eventually, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, we made our way back home. It was short but more than enough for a quick break from my regular work stuff.
These are moments that for me are irreplaceable, especially for Macky. Not so long ago, I saw a video where Neil deGrasse Tyson, an American astrophysicist and writer talks about why dogs are always very excited around us. It turns out that the equivalence of our 1 week is only 1 day for them as their lifespan is much shorter than ours.
For dogs, an hour of our time is already half a day for them so it gives them much pleasure that they have spent that much time with us.
This adventure that we had with Macky will become part of his core memory. From this day forward, he will feel comfortable and excited about riding the motorcycle to go for a stroll at the farm.
