My first time trying Victor's Famous Fried Chicken Wings

Here's my latest food gem discovery and I found it tucked away in the Jalan Besar area; it's Victor's Famous Fried Chicken. I believe this isn't a made-up title because it's famous based on the tags/labels that were provided by the famous food TV shows and Vloggers here in Singapore.

Among the many labels pasted on their signage, I recognize or have watched 3 of them: Singapore Best Foods, Our Makan Places (Lost & Found), and Food King! A stall with one of these labels is a good enough reason to think that the food is good. To have these 3 labels would only mean that the food is that good.

Because of these labels, I ordered right away. There was no doubt in my mind when I ordered 4 pieces of fried chicken wings and a bowl of Hainanese rice to go with it.

From publications to TV shows, this hawker stall is a big deal! It's surprising that they only sell the fried chicken wings for S$1.80 a piece, totally worth it!

The anticipation arose as soon as I received my order. It was freshly fried which is a good indication that it's a good quality fried chicken. The smell of fried chicken is more than enough to salivate.

There were only 3 ingredients on this plate, these are the fried chicken wings, Hainanese rice, and thin slices of cucumber. It's simple but it was satisfying! My total bill for this place was S$8.20 and it was good enough to make me feel full afterward.

After finishing the meal, I went for a walk to ease up my heavy tummy, lol. I like going for a slow walk after a good meal like this. Aside from getting nice exercise, it also helps me relax a bit as I digest the food.

A cup of green tea is all I can think of as I walk along the park near the hawker's food center. It's a relief to be able to have a good walk after a nice meal.
