Some random thoughts today

I was watching the news and because of the heat of the weather, we were talking about the effect of global warming on our water sources. It is said in the news that there is a water crisis due to a shortage of supply while the demand is higher. The imbalance in the source and demand of water is growing at an alarming rate because as time goes on the number of people increases while the effect of global warming gets stronger. That's why each one of us needs to have a change when it comes to the usage or demand of water... however, that's not going to be an easy thing to do. We need a much bigger solution instead of relying on each individual to act in a unified action to resolve the global warming issue.

This is the kind of issue that I think will require the leader of a country to act. Of course, the cooperation of the citizens is also needed to make it work. Actually we need to work together to solve this big problem. It will require everyone to take part into the solution and everything should happen in a coordinated manner so that the effect of the solution has a visible impact.

Personally, as an individual I will do my best to be considerate in consuming water. Each of us should be economical in the usage of water and avoid overspending because there is no assurance that the water supply will be sufficient in the future.

Of course, fresh water is finite and we will soon reach the point where the supply is no longer sufficient for our growing population. We have to think of ways to replenish the water supply. I hope someone can invent a more efficient method of recycling waste water to make it potable again.

Let's hope for a better future and of course let's do our best to make it happen as well.
