In the past few days, we have been surprised by the news about Tron's acquisition of Steemit Inc, the company behind the core development of the Steem blockchain. It's been a while since we heard big news like this. A kind if event that will either make or break the whole network. It could be scary however it could also turn things around for our network.

Since there are some posts from other Steem users that speculate negative implications to the future of the Steem network, let me site my positive view about it.

Firstly, every steem user already know that the Steem token is really undervalued by the masses. I could only assume that they don't see the potential of Steem since they don't even know about it.

Steem? Never heard about it... & the things it can do.

There is a huge gap in the marketing aspect of Steem and Justin Sun is known for his great marketing strategies. Him getting involved to the marketing of Steem will catapult the real value of our token to the eyes of the masses.

In business point of view, Steem maybe is a great product but since it lacks the distribution required to channel these tokens to the hands of the masses, it will remain invisible to its potential market.

It was evident that steemit.com & busy.org were banned in China (potentially the biggest market for Steem) which really disappointing to learn. These frontends are two of the major ones that we have. If Justin will migrate steemit.com to the Tron network, it will be a big deal since he can channel the webpage to Chinese users.

If this happens, the Chinese community in the Steem will be more lively. More and more users from that region will join the steem community.
