How are you today? I hope you got good rewards at the end of last season end.

Another season comes to an end and this means it's time to share the last season's report cards of my two accounts.
Last season was not so great in terms of playing the game as I could play more battles but didn't due to some personal reasons.
I got average rewards this season and I'm okay about it. It's luck after all and we couldn't do anything about it.

In this post, I will share the result from the EOS 18 reward chest collection, the CL packs opening (which I got from those reward chests), and the Gladius packs opening.

Performance Of The Main Account

With the main account, the highest league I achieved in this season was Gold II - Wild.
I played in Silver I till the last day of the season and then promotes my account to Gold II just before the season ended. This means all my current reward chests will be gold chests...

My performance on the main account in the last season was a bit better than the previous season. I managed to play more battles but my win rate was a bit poorer.
Also, I didn't get the preferred focuses throughout the season. If it happens, I could earn more chests.

My highest rating was 22692-Gold II league with the highest gold rank of 893.

I fought 295 battles this season (which is 25 more battles than season 17) and won 207 of them, maintaining a 2.35 W/L ratio which is a bit poorer than season 17.
My longest winning streak was 20.

46 reward chests that's what I collected last season and all are the Gold chests as my highest league was the Gold league in season 16.
Now, it's time to open those reward chests...

As I said earlier, after a long time, I got some good rewards this season. I opened 46 reward chests and got my very first legendary SB card, also bagged a good amount of summoner cards.
The amount of SPS and Merits was low, 9.31 and 230 respectively. Got 48 nos Alchemy and, 32 nos Legendary potions.
About the CL packs, I got 2 CL packs from 46 gold chests.

Performance Of The Alt Account

With the alt account, the highest league I achieved in this season was Gold III - Wild.
I played in Silver I till the last day of the season and then promotes my account to Gold III just before the season ended. This means all my current reward chests will be gold chests...

My performance on the alt account in the last season was a bit good than the previous season in terms of fighting battle and win rate. I played more battles and won more than the previous season.

My highest rating was 2794-Gold III league with the highest gold rank of 440.

I fought 291 battles this season (which is 12 more battles than season 17) and won 213 of them, maintaining a 2.73 W/L ratio which is a bit good than season 17.
My longest winning streak was 19...

45 reward chests that's what I collected last season and all are Gold chests as my highest league was the Gold league in season 16.
Now, it's time to open those reward chests...

Just like the main account, I got plenty of SB reward cards in the alt account too. Out of these, 2x GF Firecaller and 2x GF Swamp Splitter were the best pull. Next, there are 6x Lobb Lowland and 5x Franz Ruffmane, the two summoners I got in this season's reward chests.
Got 19.64 Sps (it was a nice amount considering these are the golden chests) and 86 Merits and a sweet CL pack. Not bad as long I get at least one CL pack from season rewards.

In the last season, I got a total of 5 CL packs from the daily focus chests and season rewards, 3 in the main account and 2 in the alt account. The numbers are fewer compared to season 17.
I transferred all the CL packs to the main account and opened them at once.
Let's see what's waiting for me...

I expected at least 1 legendary card from those 5 CL packs, but it seems that has not happened. Also got no epic card this time, only a bunch of rare and common ones.
The most valuable was the earth summoner Obsidian, which I use frequently in magic attack-based battles.

Closing Thoughts

I'm slowly building the deck of main cards and gladius cards that I play occasionally with the two accounts.
The plan is here to cut out the current renting cost first and then rent out the extras to gain some profit.
Though I'm far away from that equilibrium point, but I'm sure I can do this.

With the increasing price of DEC the rental price is also rising insanely whereas the SPS earnings from daily battle and reward chests are low (in silver league). Then again, the price of SPS is tanking every day.
Still, getting 1-2 CL packs is what is good in opening EOS and daily reward chests.

Regarding those potions, I still think the Splinterlands team should make them saleable for the owners in the secondary market or make a way to burn them and get some DEC/SPS so that someone can get rid of those potions for actually useful things like SPS or DEC. Otherwise, they just keep piling in my account as I'm not planning to buy a large pack quantity recently.
