Sometimes life gets complicated due to the many responsibilities we cannot ignore—after all, we have family members who need us for one reason or another.

I find myself in what I consider a critical situation, as I am currently working in a city to which I relocated—not permanently, but rather to find a new environment where I could grow as an individual; I am not particularly old, yet I need to remain active.

I have always believed that no matter how difficult things get, we must fight for what we want to achieve; our dreams can come true. If I moved to another city, it was to improve my quality of life and pursue a dream of tranquility and peace. If I am not well myself, I cannot help those who need me; therefore, no one has the right to judge me. Mentally, I feel fine, but sometimes thoughts of criticism, conflict, and problems cross my mind. At times, I wonder if I should return to help care for those in need, but I have to consider my own well-being and value myself. No one else is thinking about me or knows what I feel and endure—that is all deep inside me; only I know what is going on within.

When I reflect on things, I thank God that, while I was younger, I was able to help and come to the aid of all my relatives. I may not be able to do so 100% now, but I still help in one way or another. After all, I don't know if I might leave this world before the older folks do; I don't want to leave feeling tired and sad—I want to depart in peace and tranquility. Therefore, I let things flow naturally and help as much as I can. I shouldn't give in to excessive demands from relatives; one should lend a hand within one's limits—working, helping, visiting, and caring for them up to a certain point. I am an older person now, and I cannot wear myself out trying to meet every family demand.

At home, I handle household chores and spend time on social media without talking to anyone, because there is hardly any activity in the residential complex, and the few people who remain there are busy working.
I decided to look for work in another city, and thank God, I am currently employed.
Right now, I am under a lot of pressure because we have elderly, ailing relatives who need our care. We are sharing the responsibilities among ourselves; after all, the elderly require proper attention and good nutrition—we can never turn our backs on them. These relatives didn't have children of their own, but they do have nieces and nephews. My cousins and I reached an agreement: some of us work while others take care of them. Those of us who work contribute toward their food and medication, and we visit whenever we have free time.

Family is a part of us and should not be left to fend for themselves; even when we experience anger, arguments, and all manner of bad moments, only God knows our hearts and the limits of our capabilities. I try my best to send money and go help out—though sometimes it proves impossible and isn't understood—but we must give the best we can. As I mentioned, God—the Universal Father—knows our hearts and is the only one who can judge us, not man.

We must do good to everyone—and do it wholeheartedly, not out of obligation—because we are all heading toward that stage of life. Life is complicated; sometimes we are misunderstood. There are times when we intend to do good, but something comes up, things go wrong, and people judge us, labeling us as bad people. Yet, that isn't the case; these things happen. It is best to turn a blind eye and walk away so that harsh words do not hurt us.
