This weekend I had the opportunity to enjoy the company of several coworkers, in a fair that took place in a square in the capital city where I live, a square called "Plaza Bolivar".

At this time of the year the squares are usually decorated with lights and pretty nice decorations that make everything look really beautiful and great. During the night you enjoy a lot of this and certainly the nights become different when they do this kind of things in the city, as it is a small town and there are not always a lot of things to do around there.

Tonight there were a lot of people in the plaza, too many for my taste, but it was normal considering they had brought a lot of artists and bands to the fair that played their music all night long. I focused more on the decorations than on the music, as I am someone very visual and if there was something that caught my attention, it was this, all the decorations that were in the square and the surroundings, hence I wanted to take pictures of all this to share it with the community, where there are other photographers who are really and other amateurs like me.

Notice that the lights in the photographs make a good contrast at night and it is at this time that they look good. Even though they were turned on in the daytime, at about 5pm, they didn't look good. It wasn't until the evening that they showed their true splendor.

There were really impressive decorations such as a gigantic crocodile, which caught the attention of both children and adults; also a yellow lion that looked simply beautiful; besides, the hanging lights on the trees and the streets made the whole place very beautiful.

I loved enjoying that night in good company, there were quite a few of us so it didn't get boring to share, we had fun as a group and I took the opportunity to immortalize these lights in such colorful pictures that I share with you today.

Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar la compañía de varias compañeras de trabajo, en una feria que se hizo en una plaza de la ciudad capital de donde vivo, una plaza llamada "Plaza Bolivar".

En esta época del año se suelen adornar las plazas con luces y adornos bastante bonitos que hacen lucir todo realmente hermoso y genial. Durante la noche se disfruta un montón de todo esto y ciertamente las noches se vuelven distintas cuando se hacen este tipo de cosas en la ciudad, pues es un pueblo pequeño y no siempre hay muchas cosas que hacer por allí.

Esta noche había un montón de gente en la plaza, demasiada para mi gusto, pero era normal considerando que habían traído a la feria un montón de artistas y bandas que tocaron su música durante toda la noche. Yo me enfoqué más en los adornos que en la música, pues soy alguien muy visual y si hubo algo que me llamó la atención, fue esto, todo el decorado que había en la plaza y los alrededores, de ahí que quisiera tomar fotografías de todo esto para compartirla con la comunidad, donde hay otros fotógrafos que son realmente y otros aficionados como yo.

Fíjense que las luces en las fotografías hacen un buen contraste en la noche y es que es a esta hora que lucen bien. Aunque las encendieron de día, a eso de las 5 de la tarde, no se veían bien. No fue sino hasta la noche que estas mostraron su verdadero esplendor.

Habían adornos realmente impresionantes como el de un cocodrilo gigantesco, que llamó la atención tanto de niños como adultos; también el de un león amarillo que lucía simplemente hermoso; además, las luces colgantes de los árboles y las calles embellecieron un montón todo el lugar.

Me encantó disfrutar esa noche en buena compañía, éramos bastantes así que no se volvió aburrido el compartir, sino que en grupo nos divertimos y yo aproveché de inmortalizar estas luces en tan coloridas fotografías que hoy comparto con ustedes.
