Siempre me ha gustado tomar fotografías de mi ciudad. Últimamente no he tenido tanto tiempo como antes para hacerlo, pero recientemente tuve la oportunidad de visitar Caracas, la ciudad capital de mi país, y logré tomar algunas fotografías.

Aunque tampoco pude tomar tantas como quise, sí logré tomar unas cuantas que me gustaría compartir con la comunidad.

Las tres primeras fotografías tienen que ver con el viaje y es que desde mi punto de vista las carreteras tienen algo mágico, tienen una soledad, un silencio y una belleza que no se puede ver en otros sitios. Son lugares peligrosos, hermosos, enigmáticos y sin duda grandiosos que bien vale la pena fotografiar, sobre todo durante el amanecer o en el atardecer.

Eso fue lo que hice en estas tres primeras fotografías, capturé en secuencia el amanecer en tres momentos distintos, siendo el reflejo del capó del auto donde iba un detalle interesante que siento que suma un poco a la composición, creando un reflejo hermoso difícil de lograr en otras circunstancias...

Otras cosas que quise destacar fueron las enormes edificaciones de la ciudad. Aunque no todas las fotografías me quedaron bien, sí logré tomar algunas a obras enormes e interesantes que no sé cómo se llaman y otros edificios de gran tamaño por los que pasé, a otros los vi de lejos, pero son cuando menos interesantes.

A estas fotografías les apliqué algo de edición, para darle color o simplemente dejarlas a blanco y negro, pues el blanco y negro a veces vuelve interesante a una fotografía que a color sería una más del montón...

Las últimas que capturé fueron fotos que reflejaban un poco el tráfico y la cotidianidad de la ciudad. Algo más común como los autos transitando por las calles, las personas vendiendo o caminando con los cerros llenos de casas adornando el fondo de la foto.

Aquí debo hacer un paréntesis pues esto me pareció demasiado interesante, pues nunca había tenido la oportunidad de ver en personas los enormes cerros de caracas, donde había un montón de casas desde la base, hasta la parte más alta. Era una vista impresionante que bien valía la pena capturar, pues para mi era algo que veía por primera vez que quería inmortalizar.

Incluso, la vista es mucho más impresionante conforme termina el día y avanza la noche, pues las numerosas luces en el cerro hacen contraste en la negrura de la noche, asemejándose un cerro de Caracas con una suerte de pesebre tradicional de Venezuela, con muchas casitas y luces, solo que este era uno real y enorme.

Una vista impresionante que quise capturar, aunque confieso que no salió del todo bien la foto, pero sirve para ilustrar mis palabras.

I have always liked to take pictures of my city. Lately I haven't had as much time as before to do so, but recently I had the opportunity to visit Caracas, the capital city of my country, and I managed to take some pictures.

Although I couldn't take as many as I wanted to, I did manage to take a few that I would like to share with the community.

The first three pictures have to do with the trip and from my point of view the roads have something magical, they have a solitude, a silence and a beauty that can not be seen in other places. They are dangerous, beautiful, enigmatic and undoubtedly great places that are well worth photographing, especially at dawn or dusk.

That's what I did in these first three photographs, I captured in sequence the sunrise at three different times, being the reflection of the hood of the car where I was going an interesting detail that I feel adds a little to the composition, creating a beautiful reflection difficult to achieve in other circumstances ...

Other things I wanted to highlight were the huge buildings in the city. Although not all the pictures I took turned out well, I did manage to take some pictures of huge and interesting buildings that I don't know what they are called and other large buildings that I passed by, others I saw from afar, but they are interesting to say the least.

To these photographs I applied some editing, to give them color or simply leave them in black and white, because black and white sometimes makes interesting a photograph that in color would be one more of the pile...

The last ones I captured were photos that reflected the traffic and the daily life of the city. Something more common like cars passing through the streets, people selling or walking with the hills full of houses adorning the background of the photo.

Here I must make a parenthesis because I found this too interesting, because I had never had the opportunity to see in person the huge hills of Caracas, where there were a lot of houses from the base to the highest part. It was an impressive view that was well worth capturing, because for me it was something I saw for the first time that I wanted to immortalize.

The view is even more impressive as the day ends and the night progresses, because the numerous lights on the hill contrast with the blackness of the night, resembling a Caracas hill with a sort of traditional Venezuelan nativity scene, with many houses and lights, only this was a real and huge one.

An impressive view that I wanted to capture, although I confess that the photo did not come out well, but it serves to illustrate my words.
