Green days in the forest (8 pictures)

Hey, hey everyone! 💛
Hope you have a nice week full of great moments in nature! 😊

Now that the summer has already settled in Romania too, with lots of hot temperatures both during the day and night, there is no better way to escape from this weather other than going to the mountains or at least in the forest where the weather will be a little bit different and the thing that you will have hundreds of trees surrounding you with their shadow, that's even better!

Anyway, a few week ago, together with my family and boyfriend we went 20 km away from the place where we are currently living but which took us close enough to nature and mountains to disconnect ourselves from daily routines and technology since there was no signal on our phones. I absolutely love this feeling!

So after we enjoyed a tasty BBQ prepared in the woods and had fun playing some badminton, we started hiking the forest looking for the best spots where we could set up 4 hammocks where to sleep, read, or simply spend a while in the silence of nature, far from the forest road which was bothering our relaxing moments with the cars that are crossing by, from time to time.

I put a lot of accent to stay away from people while taking this trips because I think is very valuable for your brain to stay in the silence of nature which sometimes is not well understood by everyone, having people who come with music turned loud in their cars, signing, or not caring much that they have other people around them which might not enjoy the same activities.

While my sister, father and mother managed to find the right place where to stay together with their hammock, I and my boyfriend had to change the location for 3 times due to the inclined surface, being too far or too close the trees, and so on. Happily, we ended up finding a place not too far from my family where we both slept and relaxed for some good hours until the cold of the ground started being felt and we had to get back to where we left the car to warm up a bit.

After we spent a few more hours in the mountains eating, playing games and sharing stories, we decided to get back home where we admired the sun setting down from the balcony while drinking a beer, which was absolutely stunning. In the end, sunsets are the real proof that endings can be beautiful, right? 🌄

Sometimes all we need to do is to reconnect with nature! That's why I love living in the country. There's something about hiking, and spending time in the woods that always seems to help my depression!

I totally feel you and if I could, I'd definitely live closer to these places. They are pure therapy

You beautifully evoked the enjoyment of nature. Good photos. Too bad you had to go back.

Many choose to stay in the woods, away from the system.
Such decisions are very courageous.

Greetings from Serbia! 👋

As much as I love nature, I doubt I'll ever have the courage to move fully into its wilderness, but I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors, especially during this period of time. Thank you for stopping by! Greetings from Romania! 👋💚
