A crushing defeat to 3 powerful legends | Curious Battles 45#

Greetings! Here I am again with another interesting battle, in this case High Priest Darius, Coeurl Lurker and also RuneMancer Atuat were together in the opposing team to face my team that despite all their efforts was unable to do considerable damage to such a powerful formation.

For this confrontation I chose to use "Living Magma" as a tank, his stats many times have shown me that he is an excellent monster in the battlefield, however nothing more and nothing less than the fearsome Coeurl Lurker was in front of him, focusing on himself the damage of my team with his "Taunt" ability and dodging again and again with his great speed and his "Dodge" ability.

For the second position a corsair dressed in a formal gold color and with the ability "Reach" and "Reflection Shield" was slaughtering the monsters of my team that remained in the first position. In addition, he had Divine Shield, due to the support of his summoner, so his defense was extremely strong. The earthquake of the battle condition took away the divine shield but it didn't really make a big difference.

For my part "Giant Roc" was again to cover the second position, with flying I expected him to resist well the earthquake but this did not help him much because the fast Coeurl knocked him down at the beginning of the second turn, although he was one of the few who managed to hit him before dying.

Arrives in the third position a mage, Runemancer with his ability to reduce damage to range that affected my Lava Launcher and Spark Pixies. Despite his slowness he did quite a lot of damage to my team and besides that he kept standing until the end of the battle, in fact it was because of his attack that my card that was in the third position of my lineup, Lava Launcher, fell. This archer with good defense along with Giant Roc and Spark Pixies managed to hit Coeurl but his reduced damage made it difficult to keep him down, as he had the support of a resuscitator.

For the fourth position Spark Pixies, with its "flying" ability along with its great speed and acceptable damage, promised a good result by resisting the earthquake and dodge but fell quickly to round 3, after an attack by Coeurl. My opponent chose Dumacke Exile, a card very similar to DeepLurker and Silent Sha-Vi.

This sneak carrier finished off Sand Worm, who had previously missed several attacks against Coeurl.

Rounding out the lineup were Gargoya Devil and Sand Worm. The well-known gargoyle was the only one who managed to take down Coeurl, but his feat was short-lived as the priest resurrected him, leaving the team back to their original lineup and ending my formation to consummate their victory.

Extra Curious facts:

Despite all my team's efforts and the damage received from the earthquake affecting the terrain, my team could not finish off even the first tank, the fearsome Coeurl that was revived after the desperate attack of my Gargoya Devil.
