Defeating the much feared Quora! | Curious Battles 55#

What's up? Today I'm back with another battle worth sharing, this time because an almost unbeatable card was the one I faced in a Brawl-type battle, with a David vs Goliath style result. It wasn't the first time I managed to beat a Quora, but its win rate is so high, that when you finally manage to take it down, it's an achievement.

First place in a ground splinter formation.... Who took it in my lineup? Well, the faithful tank "Unicorn Mustang". This fast steed has void so when there is a suspicion of magic alignment, it is almost fixed that I place him as a tank.

In enemy territory, the mini godzilla, "Grund", was there to take advantage of his double hit that adds up to 6 points of damage, although that move was expensive, since we both had Mylor as summoner, so the thorns were left over in this battle.

Despite leaving the unicorn, Grund, dying, he also ended up badly wounded, being finished off by a mushroom attack with silence. Before his fall, the healer "Goblin Psychic", took the opportunity to support the unicorn, leaving him with 5 health points to face the fearsome Quora. This, in his first offensive, launched his magical attack, which did nothing because he was reduced by silence and the void served as a shield, then followed with the physical attack, which did not reach its destination.

For the second place, the small minotaur, was to support with "reach", this received damage because of the thorns, but still managed to give a grain of sand for the victory.

In the rival field it was Quora, with bloodlust and healing, who was intimidating from the moment he showed up. Although I thought I would have lost since she appeared, she was brutally weakened by the anti-magic strategy and the support of the goblin healer to keep the tank standing.

For third place, a powerful level 3 earthworm, very reminiscent of the beasts from Dune. This powerful attacker managed to take down "Spirit Shaman", but was not unscathed. By the time it was his turn to cover the front, he was knocked down by a magical attack from the famous mushroom.

For my team, the gladiator Katrelba Gobson was the one who was there to take advantage of her double strike + sneak + bloodlust. However, the rival spines put an end to any power-up plans she had.

Mushroom Seer was part of the key to victory in this battle, this powerful mage stands out for his "silent" ability. With it he was able to appease Quora's magic damage, in addition to that his magic was added to the artillery to damage her until her healing could not withstand so much punishment.

For this position, Goblin Psychic was the enemy choice, this healer is so popular that there have been many battles in which he has been repeated in both teams. In this battle it was Katrelba Gobson who finished him off, but she herself ended up doomed by the thorns.

The end of my lineup was formed by the frequent goblin healer and Spirit Shaman. The first was an excellent healer and offending mage and the second served as bait to leave the sand worm quite weakened by the thorns, this because divine shield covered an attack and then came the coup de grace against the aforementioned epic card, adding 4 points of damage by thorns.

In enemy terrain there were no more cards for these positions because the previous ones already covered the maximum mana allowed for this Brawl type battle.

Extra Curious facts:

The battle was about to end in defeat for me, because the fall of the unicorn would have meant to feed Quora's bloodlust and thus start his chain of massacre, however, the unicorn managed to dodge before being finished by the physical attack, giving time to be healed by Goblin Psychic and thus changing the course of the battle.
