Dragons, magic and... Void again? - Weekly Battle Challenge
What's up? Today, curiously, the "void" skill shines again in my team and when dragons are present, magic damage is usually not far away.
From Splinterlands and edited with CANVA
For the first place, my robo dragon-khight is back with what for me is a "golden" ability, this is "void", besides it is accompanied by "divine shield" to resist an attack without taking any damage, regardless of how powerful it is and what kind it is. In front of him, a famous unicorn that also shares the "void" ability is presented for confrontation.
Given that there were many mages it was crucial that magic defense was not taken lightly, although one thing I did not take into account was healing, this would have brought a more defensive nature to the team. Fortunately despite this shortcoming, victory was achieved.
A fun-themed wizard appears for my second position.... Nostrad... No! Lobstradamus is his name. Slow but shielded to cover physical damage, bad move on my part as most of the damage on the enemy team was magical in nature, so he went down fairly early.
In hostile terrain, Mycelic Slipspawn stands up for his team using his "taunt" ability so that my artillery would focus on him, in such a way that he would give time to the rest of his teammates. The strategy worked well because at the beginning, despite his advantages the legendary dragon knight fell on turn 2 and his opponent, the fantasy horse was healed, the "affliction" of the pirate ghost was not on my side.
Third position, nothing more and nothing less than Regal Peryton covered with an elegant gold was attacking quickly from a distance to my team although for the 4th round he fell at the hands of the ghost of the pirate captain. On my side a legend was covering that place, Djinn Oshannus with his void replaced Lobstradamus quite well when he fell. He resisted for very little until the end, specifically with 1 point of life, but that does not detract from his tenacity.
In fourth place, Khmer Princess was my opponent's choice. With her Obsidian powered attack she managed to do damage from a distance, however, Djinn Oshannus took her down shortly after Regal Peryton was defeated.
My choice again brought up the "Void" ability that I have talked about before and that is the same "Void Dragon" returns to defend and participate in the offense. This one received several attacks by the "Blast" present in the archer of the opposing team, but the damage was not enough for him to lose. This dragon was kept ready in case he had to replace Oshannus in the vanguard, however, for only 1 point of life, this resource was not needed.
For the finale two mages with opposite abilities stand out in their respective battle lines. "Goblin Psychic" healed on multiple occasions, I tried to predict this frequent piece in many battles, but the ability "affliction" in my ghost captain did not come out when it should, I only saw it when he gave the coup de grace to the Goblin... By that time it was meaningless because the opponent was already defeated.

Curious fact:
I recently made a publication for my series of "curious battles" that I share here and the formation I used is very similar to the one I share today, only that it was in a Brawl type battle and also the splinter that joined the dragons was of death type in which several "life stealers" were present.
