Facing a classic and powerful healing combo! | Curious Battles 36#

Greetings! Here I come back with battle number 36# of this series of publications in which I share curious confrontations. Today's battle features a classic strategy, somewhat expensive and powerful, which I faced with cards that were much more accessible but not insignificant.

Djinn Oshannus appears again in my team, this legendary with the "void" ability was the pillar of this victory, because he resisted the magical punishment of Kron and Mushroom Seer. In front of him was Fungus Fiend, a 0 mana minitank from the Chaos Legion edition. He didn't resist much but he covered a little bit the Flesh Golem that would come later.

For the second position Tide Bitter appears again, this epic that has been faithful to me in many battles was supporting the offensive intensely. Thanks to her support we were able to overcome the strong healing ability that was present in two monsters and also got to boost in Kron by the ability "Last Stand".

Flesh Golem is a card with quite a long time in the game but despite that it is still influential because of its high HP and the "heal" ability that makes it a formidable tank.

The pirate captain was not left behind, as he was key to bring down the Mushroom Seer, in such a way that the magic power of Djinn Oshannus returned to its original power and accelerated the process of defeating the enemy.

Mushroom Seer is a card that I respect quite a lot as it can totally change the final result of a battle, by overthrowing strategies focused on magic as the main offensive, besides its own magic offensive is not at all negligible. However, the summoner I used also covered a counter against magic.

Another one with healing? Well yes, and not just anyone "Kron The Undying" was present with his intimidating magical power and also came to be empowered by Last Stand, as I had mentioned before. However, because of the intervention of "Crustacean King", the devastating power of that forest legend failed to bring down my strategy. Despite its slowness and low attack, the ability to heal the tank made it the second key pillar for the victory.

Finally came the offensive in the rear, "Sabre Shark" and "Water Elemental" that supported from afar to overcome the enemy healing barrier, that every time we attacked restored a good part of their life points.

Extra Curious facts:

Despite the great healing power we faced, the combo I chose turned out to be so efficient that the whole team was left as it was when the battle began. It is interesting how, despite the big gap between card prices, it is possible to overcome an expensive and seemingly unbeatable combo with considerably cheaper cards. Although clearly the battle conditions and the amount of mana available greatly influence the options to choose at the time of battle.
